Neat ideas and visual, horrible execution
An eerie, surreal game with a sad, poetic soul. If you enjoy dream-like experiences like LSD: Dream Emulator, you'll enjoy BlueSuburbia. I especially like the way the game combines high res 3D gameplay with lofi-fi narrative pop ups and tiny little low res retro mini games. Gorgeous and weird.
Surreal and beautiful landscapes to explore. Walking sim with storytelling and gathering quest.

If you like glitch art and maximal shaders this is the game. Brilliant idea to have a third person camera without the "person". The visuals are alluring, nauseating, and very powerful. Interpretation of trauma is subjective so I won't comment too much on how the creator chose to present it here but, personally, some of the dialogue sequences felt a little too didactic & long, which flattened the pacing.
very interesting concept of exploring poetry through haunting dreamscapes, but the execution is to work on, you get thrown directly at random visuals that try to look beautiful and uneasing at the same time, which is well done, but the experience itself feels empty and not immersive, the game just shows you a bunch of poems that lack context you just get thrown in the middle of the story and the atmosphere leaves u waiting for something impactful that never comes a great idea held back by weak delivery 👎
creepy
beautiful landscapes and writing, honestly one of the best "art games" I've seen in a while. Although I'm keeping this review vague because I don't know how I would REALLY talk about something like this.
cursed
honestly loved it. the game had great atmosphere and overall loved the stoy. my only small complaint would be that the map is huge and exstensive and you walk at a relatively slow speed so it gets a little boring. regardless, I absolutely loved this game.
