She's just a teenage siren. Let her rock... Play as Mari, a punk rock siren princess, who’s hell-bent on headlining her concert no matter the cost. Use your ear and “bloodsong” to match musical pitch, defeat enemies, and solve puzzles along the way. The stage is set–are you ready to rock?!

Hi :D I beat the game it was a fun short playthrough! I am a friend of one of the amazing people who worked on this game! As someone completely new to the game I thought i'd give my outside thoughts so they suggested I write a steam review for constructive criticism! I don't have any experience with musical notes but was able to get a hang of the gameplay pretty easily regardless. Though I think the music staff could have been modified to cut off those high notes that the player can't hit so it would be easier to read. Swimming took some getting used to, however I feel like the environment was built to compliment her swimming controls pretty well. There was a bit of an issue with the audio volume varying significantly between different voice clips. Early gameplay had me confused at first. I missed the queues in the tutorial, maybe it could have had an on-screen prompt telling me how to swim and change notes during that part instead of in the dialogue box. Also for locking on, maybe there could be a little arrow pointing above the closest enemy telling players to lock on kinda like in Zelda Anyway, I loved the environment! It was modeled, textured. and lit really well. The music was great to listen to and the UI was really good! I liked the style of the UI. Overall it was enjoyable and I think it's a solid FIEA game! :D

Nice and simple game. Not a whole lot to it but it's pretty fun. Unfortunately it only took me 50 minutes to beat, but I feel like this concept could be expanded on to make an amazing game. I liked the art style and the controls were fine, although they take some time getting used to.
While I like the concept of having to match the pitch to defeat enemies and progress, the way it's implemented feels unpolished and overall gameplay is buggy and unoptimized. I can't criticize too harshly for a free game and it has nice visuals, but there are bugs (mainly collision detection, though I had to exploit it to actually complete the game due to how weird that boat was). Also frame rates I am getting are low given the graphics quality, this game has roughly Abzu level of visual fidelity, maybe higher here and there, and I am getting worse performance than Abzu. Here's hoping the developers will one day provide a quality-of-life update to address this, I would honestly change my review to positive since I really like the level design and music!
I'm just doing it for statistics ^.^ Have a nice day
What the ♥♥♥♥ are these system requirements
the game "runs" like a** as in sub 30fps on 1440p on rx6700xt and ryzen 5700x with 32GB of 3800mhz ram It has no options to modify controls, and the graphical settings consist of resolution and fulscreen toggles both of which don't work.
Because the game setting is swimming, the WASD in the game is very different from ordinary level games. WS means scrolling down and scrolling up. It took me a long time to get used to this operation at the beginning. In the game, you have to rely on pitch and staff to hit notes that match each other, which is quite new to me. I'm not a very musical person, but I find this setting very interesting and challenging. In the battle, you need more skillful operation to avoid damage. At the beginning, I died many times before I slowly found the rhythm. But the novice tutorial at the beginning caused me to get stuck in a bug, causing me to start over.
Great idea, poor execution, sadly. I would love to see a game like that being well done. (and I would pay for it)
