In this game you can aim, which gives different buffs to the guns.
P90 - regular, precise autogun that transforms into a 10,000 RPM BEAST when aiming!
Grenade Launcher - shoots big, spiky projectiles that damage enemies on physical hit and explode after.
MP5 - charges up when you hit enemies, increasing fire rate, damage and accuracy. Every hit also adds 3 ammo to the clip!
Machine Gun - very high damage output at the cost of your speed.
Winchester - shoots explosive projectiles, explosion is bigger if you shoot heads!
Shotgun - shoots fast, and even faster when Aiming!
Super Shotgun - completely overpowered gun with penetrative bullets, but slow
Pistol - burst firing, pretty powerful with high damage despite having infinite ammo and serving as a backup weapon.
powerful melee attack ability that deals enormous damage in a big area
Killing enemies charges up your Slam Away ability.
When you kill anyone with Slam Away, you refill all your guns clips.
Enemies who die from Slam Away drop more health/armor/ammo pickups.
Range attacking enemies will hide from you while reloading their attack.
Melee enemies will move in a strafing manner and will try to surround you.
Many enemies have combined behaviors.
Many enemies will change their behavior depending on damage received. If you shoot hands off some enemies, they will become range attacking only, others will bite you with their teeth.
Some enemies have their quirks: for example, Hydra, with each head lost, becomes faster, or Goblin with a shield will be very fast and angry if you destroy his shield.
Enemies varying from very fast, with unpredictable behavior, to slow and tanky.
Most enemies can have armor.
Overall, there are 21 enemy types + 11 mini bosses.
Detailed dismemberment allows you to cut off enemies limbs: hands, forearms, upper arms, etc.
Physically simulated interactive gore can be pushed around by shooting or explosions
Gore parts and blood splatters are eternal (not disappearing)! But to not fry your PCs, there's a limit to the gore/blood amount. Same with dead enemies bodies.
Sprint
Directional double jump - while in the air, you can jump not up, but to the side. Good for jumping over enemies
Bunny hop - gain speed by jumping fast without stopping. Combine with Sprint to gain even more speed!
If not moving, you jump higher.
Game created with 100% "Very Challenging" preset difficulty in mind. It's very hard and requires constant movement, strategic use of resources, and good positioning.
The game difficulty scales from very challenging to super easy.
You can manually set difficulty values lower than the lowest preset, reducing incoming damage down to 5% and enemy speed down to 50%.
Lots of checkpoints - if you die, you don't lose more than 5 minutes of your time!
Non-gameplay-interruptive tutorials are displayed for each gun and for each player ability.
Disappear once you complete them.
Always available from the pause menu.

That was short but a lot of fun. Controls are well balanced, a very Serious Sam-type game. FWIW it worked OOTB on Linux for me. Highly recommended, one of the few games I couldn't wait to get back to after work.
serious sam on steroids
Slightly better than the first one. It's gore and there are a lot of monsters
画面差,枪械手感差,音乐刺耳,地图缺乏引导
This game was a lot of fun. It's a lot better than the original Bloodkill but it's still not perfect. There was a section at the start of the game where my mouse wouldn't register and when I clicked my mouse none of my guns would fire. Eventually an enemy hit me and I could use my mouse to fire my weapons. I'm not sure if this is an actual choice by the developer* to include this in the game or if it's a bug? The guns are great, that double barrel though omg lol. There are a lot of frustrating sections in this game. "The jumping puzzles" well what I would call them anyway towards the end of the game are pretty bad tbh. I've seen people say that* they uninstalled when they got up to that section of the game and I honestly don't blame them I almost gave up towards that part. The trick is to double jump when you're like half way to the island between the poison gas. This game isn't bad for an asset flip, you can play much worse games. The soundtrack is pretty fire tbh. Another criticism is that when my screen is covered in blood and it turns red my brain automatically thinks that i'm taking damage when im not lol it's just all the insane amount of gibs and gore stuck to my screen :D. This game is like Serious Sam on Crack but much shorter. Play it* on the hardest difficulty if you want a genuine challenge.
