About

This is the game you have been waiting your whole sick life for. Experience what has been called "the most realistic gore system ever" in Raid, Sandbox and Arcade combat modes. Take on the role of a heartless killer for hire and see why Blood Trail has come to be known as "the most violent game in VR".
You are Wendigo. A hard-hearted contract killer tasked with annihilating a fanatical cult.
Built from the ground up for VR using proprietary character physics and gore systems, Blood Trail offers an unprecedented shooting experience not for the faint of heart.
With realistic gun mechanics and medically accurate damage effects, you will have no margin for error as you use your pistol, shotgun, rifle and fists to become the last man standing in this nightmarish and brutal scenario.
Did we mention that this game features the world's first virtual crack pipe?
Early Access to Blood Trail gives you several ways to satisfy your unhealthy, violent urges:
Raid -- battle across 9 huge handcrafted trails that end in semi-dynamic outposts full of people to murder.
Survival Mode -- stack the bodies high in 6 unique arena style maps where you will face an onslaught of enemies in a fast-paced shootout.
Sandbox -- Abstract environments for soothing, stress-relieving violence.
THERE'S A LONG TRAIL AHEAD!
The full release of Blood Trail will feature a story driven, single-player campaign with infiltration style missions as well as huge shootouts and quiet moments of terror. You will get to know Wendigo and the fanatical members of Neptune's Vow and encounter plenty of surprises along the way....
Blood Trail is just getting started. We are very early in development and will be improving EVERY aspect of the game:
More arcade mode maps
More evil things to do in sandbox mode
More weapons
More enemy types
More ways to murder and maim
More drugs
MORE VIOLENCE!
There is also an experimental branch where you can test out cool upcoming features before they make it to the main game!

VERY REALISTIC!!!!!
yes and now but the dev wont update
I absolutely dont recommend this game, game currently feels extremely weird and clumsy, weapons like knifes and etc that are not guns almost dont work at all. Ive been playing vr for over 5 years now and have never encountered a problem with motion sickness, but guess what, this game has such a dumb movement system that i started feeling sick after 5 minutes, i instantly felt that this movement is extremely weird. I do not recommend

I'm really disappointed with this game. It had been on my wishlist for over a year and looked amazing in tiktoks and gameplay videos, where it was presented as a great way to unwind and mess around after a long day. In reality, the game feels abandoned and extremely lacking in content. Beyond mindless shooting, there’s very little to do. Even basic features are missing, like a clear indicator that you’re taking damage while under fire. It might be a fun curiosity for a few minutes, but it’s definitely not worth full price in its current state.
i wish someone could take this game and make it a single player story mode game that would be dope im not sure why the devs burned the game its not bad at all i played it on the 5090 tho but it was awesome at first then there just aint much to do after a bit of time playing but it could be something awesome if they just added something to it but its a fun if u like shooting and gore got some cool graphics
This game scratches an itch that I do not think everyone has. It is deeply immersive. The gun play is great. The physics are impressive. I really enjoyed sneaking around and picking off people on the raid missions. But, the real selling point, and what makes this game feel unique, is disturbingly graphic and gory simulated murder. This game made me feel powerful in a psychopathic way, but also made me feel guilty and somewhat disturbed by myself, which I actually enjoyed. So many games make combat feel empowering and badass, but not many also make it feel gritty and immoral. The truth is, killing people is wrong. Sometimes it is warranted, but unless you are a true psychopath, it SHOULD feel wrong to kill someone. If you are a psychopath, it should feel okay only in stark contrast to what is socially accepted as normal and okay. I enjoy a game that gives my violence weight. I want to feel the cognitive dissonance that comes with feeling powerful enough to cause pain and death indiscriminately, but also aware that to do so is antisocial and sadistic, and just plain evil. I WANT to face that. This game gave me that feeling more than any other games that have triggered it. I am aware that some people only feel one way or the other about this. Some people likely get on here and just torture people in brutal ways in the sandbox mode. Other people certainly boycott this game and games like it, thinking they are horrible for the human psyche. I believe these are all fine and valid perspectives to have. For me personally, I enjoy to play this game like any other shooter, not necessarily going out of my way to brutalize as many people as possible, but finding it satisfying to feel the inner conflict that comes from ENJOYING causing pain and terror as I achieve my goals. It just feels authentic in a way most violent games don't ever quite reach. I just feel it is a huge shame that this game seems to be dead, and it does not seem like a story mode is coming any time soon (if ever). If this game had a proper story mode it would likely be one of my favorite games of all time, but, as is, it feels more like a glorified tech demo. It would be great if this game perhaps embraced becoming something of a software developer kit, with user generated content, and a proper sandbox mode, and custom campaigns and scenarios. There are so many cool things that could be done with this game, but in its current state, it just feels like a tease to me. I CRAVE A PROPER STORYLINE!!!! I have to recommend this game, but I cannot say in good conscience that it is an objectively good game in its current state. As is, it is incomplete, and I worry that it may stay that way indefinitely (but god do I hope that is not the case). There is also the simple fact that not everyone would enjoy what this game is really about. I truly believe you should ideally be a bit twisted in the head to get the most out of it. I do not, however, think this game is exclusively for psychopathic edge-lords. The most significant part of it for me IS the conflict that comes from my sense of morality and empathy, as it conflicts with the catharsis and empowerment that comes from brutally killing everyone in my way.
