Blood Engine

"Blood Engine - Kleiner Entwickler, Große Herausforderungen" Als Unterstützer kleiner Entwickler war ich gespannt auf Blood Engine, jedoch waren meine Erwartungen nicht vollständig erfüllt. Spielbarkeit (2/5): Leider ist das Spiel aktuell nur mit einem Controller spielbar, was für viele PC-Spieler eine Einschränkung darstellt. Die Steuerung könnte verbessert werden, um mehr Optionen zu bieten und die Zugänglichkeit zu erhöhen. Grafik (2/5): Die Grafik von Blood Engine entspricht leider nicht meinen Vorstellungen. Die visuelle Darstellung wirkt unzureichend und könnte von einer gründlicheren Überarbeitung profitieren. Eine ansprechendere Grafik würde zweifellos das Spielerlebnis verbessern. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis (2.5/5): Der Preis von 4.99 Wäre fair, Aber Nicht 14,79 aber angesichts der aktuellen Einschränkungen und der visuellen Mängel könnte das Spiel noch weiter optimiert werden. Ein niedrigerer Einstiegspreis würde die Erwartungen besser reflektieren. Spielspaß (2/5): Leider konnte Blood Engine meinen Spaßfaktor nicht steigern. Die genannten Mängel in Bezug auf die Spielbarkeit und Grafik trugen dazu bei, dass das Spiel für mich nicht ansprechend war. Fazit: Blood Engine ist ein Versuch eines kleinen Entwicklers, der aufgrund einiger Einschränkungen und Mängel nicht vollständig überzeugt. Mit Verbesserungen in der Steuerung und einer Grafiküberarbeitung könnte das Spiel seine Attraktivität steigern. Strange game this. Not what I was expecting but once I got used to the controls and what I was meant to be doing, I really got into it. Graphically it’s not the best in the world with a couple of glitches and a tiny bit of lag now and again, but that didn’t ruin the game for me. Having said that, it does have a great mood and atmosphere and the music and sound design are just top notch. It also worked well on my 2K ultrawide screen monitor, which is always a bonus. It can be repetitive and at first frustratingly difficult, trying to work out what to do and getting killed a lot and no way to change the difficulty level. But I like a challenging game and I’ve played through this twice now and after completing a few missions and getting some more weapons and perks, it gets easier. Especially the jetpack if you get to upgrade it a couple of times, that was awesome. All in all, quite a good shooter that had me hooked for a fair few hours, just be prepared for a steep learning curve.
