+ gloominess + atmosphere + lots of interactions with objects low cost. This is a real indie game!
Just beat the game. A super trippy realistic horror game where you wake up in a garage and a killer is trying to get inside. The narration is super hilarious it had me laughing, the jumnpscares were good and theres also bloody body bags and ugly ghosts scaring you. The games immersion is top notch, the levels are mysterious and liminal feeling. A dark house and especially the tree lights area, tons of fun and one of my favorite games i give it 10/10 :D
Typical hangover
It's too dark, you need to adjust the screen settings. I also recommend playing at night and using headphones for maximum immersion! It was worth it, dude!
👁️ Blind Memory: A surreal trip with amnesia
You come to in a garage. Your vision is blurry, your memory is gone, and there's a bloody body bag lying nearby. Someone is banging on the door... Sounds like the beginning of a classic horror story? It is, but with a dash of hardcore psychedelia and a time loop thrown in. It was a short but very strange dive into someone's nightmare.

What is the game about? / Gameplay
From the very first minutes, Blind Memory is disorienting. You play as a half-blind hero, and this is not just a plot device — visual filters actually mimic distorted vision, creating the effect of a bad drug trip or a severe hangover. In terms of gameplay, it's a first-person walker with elements of survival horror. You have to dodge around dark corners, search for clues to what is happening, and try to understand: is everything around you real, or is it the product of a sick imagination? An interesting feature is the change of perspective, when 3D exploration is suddenly interspersed with 2D inserts, which is even more confusing.
Atmosphere / Features
The coolest thing here is the feeling of liminality. Locations like a dark house or a forest with garlands look both familiar and frighteningly alien at the same time. But what surprised me most was the narrative. You expect pompous drama, but instead you get a voiceover that sometimes makes such absurd and funny comments that you start laughing at the most tense moments. This contrast between horror and humor makes the game unique.

Pros and Cons
What I liked:

Immersiveness: Thanks to the sound and visual distortions, you get completely sucked into the game. The garage and forest feel very uncomfortable.
Scare moments and tension: The jump scares work here. When someone tries to break in after you, your adrenaline spikes.
Narrative: The unconventional presentation of the plot and the specific humor that lightens the gloomy atmosphere.
Loop concept: The need to replay sections, revealing new details, motivates you to see it through to the end.
Controversial points / Cons:

The visuals are specific: the models of ghosts and enemies look rather budget-friendly (“ugly” in a good way), but this is forgivable for an indie game.

The strange mix of horror and comedy may not appeal if you're expecting a 100% serious psychological thriller.

Conclusion
Blind Memory is a little “hidden gem” with character. It wins you over with its strangeness and atmosphere of madness. If you like experiments and games that leave you wondering, “What the hell was that?” — go for it. Rating: 8/10. by. A confined space. You come to. You feel sick and can't remember anything. There's a bloody corpse next to you. Someone is trying to get to you... What do you do?! Okay, after that I launched Blind Memory.

虽说不能歧视残疾人,不过这里的视听感受尤其是听觉部分也过于粗粝了…… 太短,还没玩出一点点滋味儿,结束了,故事也没讲明白。
Thank you OliveRoots very much for this experience. The game itself is thrilling and the story is nice. The game is exciting and pushes you to try every way in the game. I would like to see more of your work. Thanks!
