"I wonder if Blender likes smoothies" -Wayne Gretzky- -Micheal Scott- I will say the basement level where blender is doing his best spider impression did give me some good jump scares, mainly because I am a b****. Some levels do seem like a fever dream that goes on and on, I don't recommend playing this game if high on acid or shrooms, but at the same time for a wild experience, do some acid or shrooms while playing this game
for a few bucks and a first release (especially for the first version) its pretty decent! i do enjoy the horror escape room-esque thing going on here. pros: open space allows for room to run story is generally clear and concise escape room elements lore to find flashlight actually provides decent lighting (woo!) the simplicity is actually quite nice for a change fast sprinting doesn't require a massive brain to figure out puzzles cons: one-track song that constantly plays (silence would enhance the horror elements) very few settings (mouse sensitivity, music volume etc. may be beneficial to add) blender's non-stop chasing and camping makes it hard to find a moment to interact with objects (especially problematic with trying to watch the vhs tape) this combined with the limited 6 lives makes the game awfully difficult (maybe this is some skill issue on my part) minor bugs (apparently blender dude really wants me to eat at his restaurant, because the menu keeps popping up at random intervals, LOL!) cant hear blender dude sometimes, results in me almost running into it (maybe this was intentional, because this actually got me a couple of times) minor issue with picking up pages- i definitely viewed some and yet it says ive collected 0/4 at the end of the game ^ additionally adding an option to go back and collect the rest of the pages to fully complete the game would be a solid quality of life addition overall i think this game has the potential to become something really neat, it just needs some extra pushes to really push it to its full abilities. congratulations on the first release WP!
Ever play a game that mixes all the best parts of elden ring, lethal company, alien isolation, call of duty, god of war and potion craft? Well this game is not that but your in for a treat, great atmosphere and a no hand holding pure horror experience. Honestly the developer really cares and has already fix several bugs that were mention in a super short time. Cant wait to see what he comes up with next. Great Job!!!!!
