great
Great puzzle game with easy to use mechanics. The game allows you to go at your own pace and levels have varying degrees of difficulty to keep you engaged throughout the game play. Each level has multiple endings, and a timer allowing you to replay for a new and exciting challenge. I recommend this game to people who are persistent and enjoy overcoming challenges, because the feeling of victory after passing one of the challenging levels is unparalleled.

A Skylit Drive — Adelphia (2009) Непопулярное мнение: люди были чересчур жестоки к этому альбому. Многие песни пустили по моей коже мурашки, местами всё было даже эпично. Никаких претензий к фальцету Джагмина не имею.
Before I played BLEAK: Welcome to Glimmer, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
"BLEAK: Welcome to Glimmer" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This platformer has you controlling a guy called "Bleak", was very badly made with sloppy jumping mechanics, badly designed maps, no checkpoints, godawfully bad technical presentation... the pricing on this compared to the actual quality is an excercise in delusion. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. On the topic of visuals, the weak looking 2D retro assets seem like they'd be more at home in a browser game or a mobile app. 3D graphics accelerators hit the mainstream of PC gaming in the mid 1990's with cards like the ATI Rage and Voodoo3D, there's no excuse for such poor 2D graphics in 2025. That alone is enough to disqualify this for recommendation. This game is fairly dated at 9 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. On the important matter of pricing and value for gamers, there's a lot going on here with monetisation, so this really shouldn't be considered a truly free product because of that. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $8 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. Furthermore, the developer has their hand out for a $5 USD "donation" for this as you're expected to give them money for soundtrack DLC (that's already in the game) from Steam to "support" the "developer"... digital panhandling. Like the homeless guys who splash dirty water on your windscreen at the traffic lights. No thanks. Worse, this is now being used to advertise a "remaster" of the exact same game... with no apparent changes, which will soon be launched on Steam as yet another cash grab. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's well over 130 million gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at less than 100 concurrent players, they couldn't even break three figures, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the product launched on Steam, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product. Due to the 2024 FTC ruling (16 CFR Part 465), these fake reviews are a violation of US Federal Law.
Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? What's the verdict? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. I didn't pay money, but I still feel ripped off.
Great game with easy to pick up controls and challenging levels. No checkpoints make this game intense with moments of despair when you die and moments of pure dopamine when you finish that one challenging level. Devs are great too
If there has some checkpoints in the middle of each levels I would be very grateful.
This game is so boring, I couldn't even get past the first level. When you die, you have to start from the beginning of the level, and honestly, that will not keep my interest. Although it depends on the game. But this game has simple and boring controls and gameplay, boring music. Literally everything about this game is just boring. How this has a 93% rating, I'll never understand.
