About
The Blastermancer is a powerful robot with unimaginable laser blasting ability, tasked with defending the astro realm from vicious space monsters.
Waves of the space monsters will attack you each level, you must dodge and jump around them and destroy them all with your blaster-arm!

When you begin the game, it will feel like classic arcade action, but soon the enemies will become too strong... but over time the simple upgrade system will allow you to start with insane upgrades and lay waste to your foes!
every lazer that hits an enemy will cause frame drops and slowdown, like in a classic beat-em-up (this is intentional but can be easily turned off!) use this to your advantage to slow down the baddies
the game has roguelike elements but also a simple upgrade system that will power up the player beyond recognition.
you will blast your way thru 30 stages of blaster mayhem and 7+ hours of gameplay
FEATURES:
single player retro arcade experience with frantic shoot-em-up gameplay
30 stages of ever-increasing swarms of space monsters
Roguelike style item system makes each play through unique
Progression system makes player more powerful with every attempt
Intense neon graphics (screenshake and other graphical effects are adjustable)

Great game! fun to just jump into for a short escape, but also engaging enough for longer sessions. The art style is great and and the characters are quite cute. The controls are easy to get used to and once you are familiar with them fighting larger groups of enemies becomes more fun. Great for all ages and experience levels. Have already recommended it to my nephews and adult friends alike.
Super tight gameplay that's simple yet intense, feels pretty unforgiving in classic kind of way at first but once you grasp the movement, get a couple upgrades, and start weaving in charge shots you'll feel much more powerful. There's also a ton of content in the game that I've barely scratched the surface of so if you like old school run and gun style games and don't shy away from a challenge give this a shot!
I dont know how to describe it. This is a future classic, or at least has the seeds of one. Hidden under this games retro art style is a truly modern and addictive experience, i'm hooked. retro/arcade shooter/rougue like, bullet hell/masterpiece
i really love this game! the little characters are so cute and its so satisfying when blast away these monsters and everything on the screen explodes in pixels. so pretty game gets very diff tho but you are always leveling up ur ridiculous bonus item stash so its makes it super rewarding definitely recommended if you like indie roguelike shootemeup kinda jam
Overall: A really neat twist on shootem up platformers. It’s part rogue-like, part vampire survivors, part bubble bobble – but with a level of graphical polish that’s rare to find in 2d sprite work. Every play through feels different and yet strangely balanced. New enemies force you to adapt to survive. Graphics: It looks like a fever dream of retro game arcade screens. Watch the way enemies explode, the detail on the particles is crazy. I loved the art style of Jagi’s older games like Time Surfer and Bean Dreams, it’s great to see his style has developed even further.
Edit: Beat it! And looking at my play time... woah, 8 hours! Wouldn't have guessed that! It's just so easy to pick up for a 10 minute go, but then an hour later I'm still havingjust one more round! --- You got frantic reflex arcade shmupping in my vampire survivors! Extremely moreish combo of skill, statting up and luck make this VERY hard to put down (even when my hand is cramping from hitting that fire button!). Each level has its own unique style, on top of a tonne of random variety to switch up gameplay each time you re-play one, so they don't get old when you want to build up from earlier levels for that god tier run. Blastermaster is deceptively simple but refined, polished, deep game that's a blast to play (pun intended).
a fun and chaotic action/shooter/platformer with authentic retro pixel art. intensely colourful and psychedelic. it hits the sweet spot of challenging and enjoyable, feeling like old school arcade games but less infuriating when you lose! the more items you unlock and the further along you get, the more insane the game becomes!!!!!
I've been fortunate enough to be beta-testing Blaster Mancer, and I absolutely love it! The wild psychedelic graphics are like some kind of neon-soaked retro fever-dream. You face off against an army of zany enemy monsters that look like they could have escaped from a long-lost 1980s Japanese toy catalogue. The game is difficult without feeling unfair, and has a great weapon progression system that builds and tweaks all your blaster's attributes until you become an absolute power-house of monster-blastin' mayhem! Highly recommended!
compratelo, no seas gil, haceme caso.-
Wonderfully chaotic run-and-gun roguelike. Retro visuals are absolutely on point, and soundtrack is an absolute banger at times. Has a fantastically unique auto-balancing difficulty system, where the more you play the game the more powerups you can start a level with, to the point where you can become a one-man bullet hell. But you don't have to grab the powerups if you don't want, allow you to tailor your own difficulty as needed. Although even with the litany of powerups that you get, it's still not a cakewalk! Enemies come in thick and fast, and in the later levels you really need to make the most of all of your abilities to survive. Every session also feels reasonably unique, with new enemy layouts, level layouts, and player loadouts making different sessions feel unique enough to keep that 'just one more try' feeling running. Creative, charming, and relentless.
