Blair Witch

A tense psychological horror game with a strong atmosphere and a great companion in Bullet. The camcorder mechanics add uniqueness, and the sound design is excellent. However, gameplay becomes repetitive and the story ending may not satisfy everyone. Still a solid pick for horror fans who enjoy slow-burn tension and forest exploration. Score: 7.5/10

Игра с очень хорошим сюжетом и безумно прекрасной атмосферой. На протяжении всего прохождения боишься сделать лишний пук, что бы тебя и твоего верного друга не утащили твари из-за деревьев. Но, стоило дойти до определённого момента и всё моё мнение об игре резко поменялось в другую сторону. Разработчик решил, что хорошую концовку при первом прохождении получить будет попросту невозможно. Почему? А потому что без спойлеров и подсказок от других игроков догадаться о всех условиях достижения хорошей концовки возможным не представляется. Тотемы, которые пугают собаку оказывается всё это время нельзя было ломать, а тварей за деревьями и вовсе надо было смотреть через ночное виденье камеры. Вот только забавно, но такую функцию камеры игроку рассказывают лишь в тот момент, когда что-либо предпринимать уже слишком поздно. Рекомендую ли я эту игру другим? Вряд ли, как атмосферную бродилку может и да, но явно не как что-то с хорошим и интересным сюжетом.

Отличный хоррор во многом не до оценен. Игра для года своего выхода графически просто великолепна, а работа с окружением когда оно меняется от действий игрока сильно позже будет задействовано в Алан Вейк 2. С технической точки зрения меня ♥♥♥♥♥ укачало фов очень маленький и по крайней мере я не нашел как его увеличить, то же самое с ♥♥♥♥♥♥ тряской камеры. Короче игра не плохо проверила мой вестибулярный аппарат. Сюжетно вопросов нет, а так же интересная идея привязать колектоболсы к сюжету, но вот ты случайно взял 1 не тот предмет и пизда, хорошей концовки не будет. Так же прикольный интерактив с миром в котором перед тобой не ставят выборы, а так невзначай говорят, а позвони и если ты позвонишь ты получаешь еще сюжетик (прикольно что некоторые сюжетный линии запрятали почти в интерфейсе). В остальном добротный хоррор (не аутласт, но тоже не дурно) пару раз вздрагивал. На погружения игра работает хорошо, но напугать им у нее не получается. 9 из 10 псов компаньонов

HORRORRRR NIce gameplay, is like a movie but is a game

Blair Witch is just an OK game that had tons of potential and it was really close to being a phenomenal game. The story is interesting, but it is extremely convoluted and I don't know if I fully understand it, but I didn't really like the war stuff, it felt out of place. The forest setting has good atmosphere, but it somehow isn't creepy or scary. The last 30-60 minutes of the game are by far the best and I was genuinely creeped out, is is pure insanity, I loved it. The first playthrough is kind of frustrating, because you have no idea where to go or what to do most of the time. While being lost in a forest feels real and it is accurate to the series, it just isn't a very fun gameplay, not to mention there are multiple pitch black areas and I had my brightness above the recommended. I liked the time bending stuff with the camera, but I wish the game used it more often. The dog is another cool mechanic, but the commands sometimes don't work, petting the dog often breaks your game and you have to restart. Speaking of which, this game has a ton of technical issues, ranging from performance to game breaking bugs (which happened in both playthroughs). The voice acting and visuals are pretty good. Overall, Blair Watch has so many great elements that should have resulted in a banger horror game, but the execution is quite underwhelming. It is not a bad game by any means, but it could have been so much better. 6,5/10.

i was a bit skeptical about the game only because of the reviews, but i went ahead and purchased it anyway, in hopes that i was not going to be disappointed. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ THAT ENDING THOUGH!!!!! I was not disappointed at all! i thoroughly enjoyed the game, it as confusing and the whole time i was questioning why we were going through flashbacks and what did it have to do with the main story. Needless to say, the way it ALL came together to the end was mind blowing for me! The only thing i didnt like was that the main character couldnt use weapons at all, for the monsters I mean, you could only use your flashlight, but to be fair, that was enough. All in all,it was a good game,the ending felt like it went on a loop and i was wondering if it was ever gonna end(not gonna lie, that was kind of annoying). It gave me the jumpscares i didnt see coming.

Blair Witch is very much in the same vain as Bloober's other game Observer. I really enjoyed this. The story is really good and the mechanics are great. You genuinely feel like you're stuck in the forest with an evil presence, but you could also argue you're just being driven insane by your own mistakes. This is a great horror game, and there were some very scary segments.

It was good when you were in forest with dog but ending it was just stretching your time by constantly repeating same loop over and over again.
