About
An RTS where you are tasked to investigate sightings of mysterious creatures and battle against hostile forces! Based on the classic Command & Conquer series, the game will feel very familiar, but plays a lot different than your average strategy games.
The core mechanics are very simple! You can build units and buildings and you can give them orders. Your job is to keep them alive as long as possible!
Don't expect to stay in the game for too long, you have to be quick and manage your troops to avoid losing.
Natively supports the SteamDeck! Other controllers are not fully supported yet.
Enemy players will constantly try to control the map and remove you from it. Be vigilant and never leave your base undefended!
You are the first responder to handle supernatural events, so don't be surprised when something new appears and be wary, they are usually out to get you!
Artifacts are collectibles that will give you passive effects. They are the key to your survival in the long run!
This is a small indie RTS game, and our first released project. I hope it gives you a couple hours of fun!

Reviews
Not usually an RTS fan, but the variety of this game and the roguelike aspect really click for me.
A very good indie game! It can be: -Easy -Hard -Chill -challenging Everything you need! "MINERALS"
Blackwood Division is an independent real-time strategy game that blends traditional base-building mechanics with roguelike progression and survival-focused gameplay. Developed and published by GlassTower, the game takes inspiration from classic RTS titles while introducing a supernatural twist that gives it a distinct identity. Rather than concentrating on large-scale military campaigns, it focuses on shorter, replayable operations where players must establish defenses, command troops, and survive against increasingly dangerous threats. The game's setting revolves around a specialized force assigned to investigate strange incidents and combat mysterious creatures that threaten humanity. This premise immediately creates a darker and more intriguing atmosphere than many conventional strategy games. The combination of military operations and paranormal dangers helps keep the experience fresh, as players are not simply fighting rival armies but also confronting unpredictable supernatural enemies that can quickly turn a stable situation into a crisis. At its core, Blackwood Division follows familiar RTS principles. Players construct structures, gather the resources needed to expand their operations, and train units to defend their territory. While these mechanics are easy to understand, the game places heavy emphasis on efficient decision-making. Every building placement and troop deployment carries weight because survival depends on maintaining a balance between expansion and defense. The pressure created by constant enemy attacks ensures that players remain actively engaged throughout each run. One of the game's most interesting features is the way it combines hostile factions with supernatural threats. Enemy forces attempt to overrun the player's position while strange creatures emerge to create additional complications. This layered threat system prevents gameplay from becoming repetitive and encourages adaptation. Strategies that work during one session may prove ineffective in another, especially when different enemy combinations appear. As a result, players are frequently challenged to adjust their tactics and think creatively under pressure. The roguelike progression system adds another layer of replayability. During missions, players can acquire artifacts that grant passive bonuses and unique effects. These upgrades influence how future encounters unfold and provide meaningful incentives to continue experimenting with different strategies. Some artifacts improve survivability, while others enhance offensive capabilities or resource management. This progression system helps each session feel slightly different from the last and gives players reasons to pursue multiple runs. Visually, Blackwood Division adopts a pixel-art style that complements its indie roots. The graphics may not be technically ambitious, but they are effective at presenting information clearly during hectic battles. Units, structures, and hostile creatures are easy to distinguish, which is essential in a strategy game where quick reactions matter. The visual design also contributes to the game's eerie atmosphere, helping reinforce the sense of fighting against unknown and unnatural forces. The game's relatively modest scope can be viewed from two perspectives. Players seeking a massive campaign, extensive story content, or large-scale multiplayer warfare may find the overall package somewhat limited. However, those who appreciate focused gameplay and replayable challenge will likely enjoy its streamlined design. The shorter session structure makes it easy to jump into a match, experiment with different approaches, and steadily improve through experience. Blackwood Division succeeds by taking recognizable RTS mechanics and combining them with survival and roguelike elements in a way that feels cohesive. Its mixture of base management, tactical combat, supernatural enemies, and artifact-driven progression creates an engaging gameplay loop that rewards adaptability and strategic thinking. While it does not attempt to compete with the largest strategy releases on the market, it offers an entertaining and distinctive experience that showcases promising ideas from its developer. it intense !
Starcraft copy but better keep up the good work
Fun game, good price Quite difficult though, there's a tough balance between getting enough resources to survive and the way that enemies escalate, took me a few tries to get a run past 1 minute
Matches are fast, intense, and keep you on your toes from start to finish. The game offers a great range of modes, each feeling distinct and thoughtfully designed. The clean, intuitive UI ties it all together perfectly, letting you focus on actual strategy rather than wrestling with controls. Solid recommendation if you enjoy strategy games!
Let me start with the fact that im no RTS fan, BUT i still had fun with it. Played the demo aswell, i only saw improvements since then. Still a little too challenging and fast paced for my taste in a RTS, but that could just be due to my inexperience in the RTS genre.
