Short little game about... oh god, what have I just done? O.O I liked the puzzles and exploring - is it just me or was somebody just lurking right in the corner of my eye? <.< Was seriously blind finding one of the objects, but... well, it had to be somewhere, right? Encountered two downsides tho. Motion Sickness. It would be great if there was a setting to turn of the headnodding. Which leads me right to the second one: I went back to the menu, looking at the setting, changing a bit aaaand couldn't load the save anymore. Which is fine, because it's short enough, could have gone differently tho ;)
The game is quick and a fun to play for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles. Atmoshpere was pretty good although I did get jumped scared more by instruction prompts than the designed jumpscares which did make me laugh. The puzzles are a bit to easy though and the story line is a bit confusing. Like the last step about the scarifice, who was it? Who was the body in the tub? The lore is a little hard to read in the chosen font too. The only major bug was when I died. I fell into the basement and walked forward into the lit room and died. The death screen did not allow me to exit to the menu or quit so I had to alt f4 to exit. Luckly the game did save where I was! I do recommend the game for the little fun it was to play.

Niestety.
A quick play but enjoyable nonetheless. I found the ethereal mechanic quite interesting and would love to experience it in a more long form game. Still, a satisfying game start to finish. played on steam deck fairly easily, just had to check my controls on occasion haha. Thank you for making and releasing this game, i look forwards to your future endeavors.
This is a fun little game, especially for the great price of free. Everything works as it should and I'm pretty sure that the voice acting was real. My only complaint (if it can be called that) is that it was really easy, and there is some horror movie logic happening.
If I saw my friend's lighter next to a bathtub full of blood, I am getting out of there and calling the cops. There is no actual reason to finish the ritual; Jonas has no stake in this game.
Nice, atmospheric little horror game with light puzzle elements. Took me about an hour to complete. It's well executed considering this is their first game, and a really clever idea with the potion and the parallel realm. You're onto something here! I played it after the removal of the survival element, but it didn't feel like it would've been necessary anyway, since the game is pretty short (and I suck at survival). I get that you're supposed to play it in one sitting, but it would be handy to have options in the in game menu instead of having to restart the whole game. Also, the game is a bit too dark. I recommend restarting the game if you change the graphic settings, otherwise the game stutters A LOT.
cool idea, a little short but i liked it
Game made a great impression when the first loading screen said "Compilin g shaders." What were all the testers in the credits doing? Anyway, the best comparison I can make is to watching a James Nguyen film. You know...B movie horror, terrible script, emotionless main character, [strike]really awkward simulated sex scene[/strike]. Except it's not so bad it's funny...it's just bad. But then the credits roll and I see that it's a student game. So I can't [strike]sh*t[/strike]...uh, saltpeter all over it. Give it a shot. Show some love to a small team who tried. I know the first game I made many decades ago (in Visual Basic 6, no less) was pretty cheesy, too.
The Good
+Saves on exit +Didn't run my rig hot like many of these little indie releases
YMMV
~About 30 minutes of play ~Had to turn off default VSync to keep game from skipping all over ~100% cliche plot ~Elementary school puzzles ~Mouse sensitivity very low, especially in inventory ~Some frobbable items are hard to see ~Some clipping environmental objects ~One f-bomb ~A couple startling events. Not really jumpscares. ~If you're worried about the store's mature content description, there's no gore and no mentionable blood. The worst thing you have to deal with is toilet fishing.
The Bad
-Forced WASD -Can't adjust options without exiting to main menu -Your character shows zero emotion -Pressing use key in inventory also uses whatever you're standing near in the game world. Played on: Win11Pro, i7-14700K, RTX5060 Ti 16GB, 32GB DDR5-6000 @ 1920x1080 using KB&M
Oh my days my shivers have been timbered this game atmospherically was really pretty and the wood textures especially the floor were really realistic and cool. Highly reccomend this game for all those that want a little bit of spook and a little bit of scares!!!!
For a free game and what appears to be a student project (judging from the credits) this was a good game. Basic controls, easy to understand plot, a good jumpscare when I didn't expect it, and a decent ending. Definitely give it a play. Rating: 7/10
