About
BLACKJACK TRAINER is a full blackjack game built around serious practice. Configure any casino rule set, train basic strategy with a live-updating chart, and practice card counting both as standalone drills and during real game flow — all in one. One-time purchase. No subscription. No ads.

Why this exists
Free blackjack apps either have ads, push you toward real-money gambling, or only train one thing. Serious counting trainers are locked behind monthly subscriptions. This is the middle ground: a single purchase that does the full job.

Match any casino, anywhere.
1 to 8 decks
Dealer hits or stands on soft 17 (H17 / S17)
Insurance and surrender on/off
Custom split rules (DAS, resplitting, splitting aces)
Blackjack pays 3:2 or 6:5
The strategy chart updates live to reflect your selected rules

LEARN BASIC STRATEGY THE RIGHT WAY
Play with the optimal-move chart visible in-game or practice and get instant feedback on every decision, you can run focused drills until correct play is automatic with the exact rules you want.
Deck counting drills — Hi-Lo running count, adjustable speed, for as long as you want
Live-game counting — keep the count on a table running at a set speed. This is the part free apps don't do, and it will help bridge the gap between "I know Hi-Lo" and "I can count at a real table."
SURVIVAL MODE
Fixed-rule mode that ramps in difficulty so you can test yourself and see your progress over time.

This game has blackjack its good
I love blackjack. I wanted a game where I could jump in quickly, start playing hands, and have the basic strategy and deck count easily accessible. This game does that.
Don't have tons of time spent in this game, but overall it's pretty great. It's simple, fluid, and you can pass the time really quickly. There's no delays, or really that many bugs apart from the ones I'm about to mention. If you're a fan of blackjack and just want a quick game you can just hop in and out of, pick this one up! Annoying bugs as of 13/02/2026: When going into fullscreen, the game seems to cut off parts of the menus, seems to be a scaling issue so maybe implementing resolution options would be a way to fix? Stats seem to carry over between modes weirdly. Like I played custom games for a bit, swapped to one of the question/training modes, went back to custom games and it reset my session time, but not the profit/loss which still counted the original custom game I played, same with hands seen. This seemed to then also carry over to quick game, so I'm not sure if this a bug or not?
Game says I've played 46 hours, but I just forgot to close it a few times lols. Anyways, they do use the same strategy tables as black jack apprenticeship does HOWEVER, despite the table in game saying to double all 11's, if you are training, is says doubling an 11 on a dealer ace is incorrect. would like to see this fixed. I haven't attempted the counting training yet, or played an actual custom or quick game yet, but so far that is the only issue I've come across. Edit: Since the last review there was an update that added an alternate strategy grid for dealer s17 vs h17. Having the deviation now trainable is great. I've also done the counting training as well since the original review and it's smooth and accurate. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who is wanting to learn how to count and practice basic strategy. combining this with IRL cards and poker chips makes one hell of a trainer. It also beats the monthly subscription to someone like Blackjack Apprenticeship and Blackjack Advisors. You can use their free content and this game to really get close to perfect play. As of right now the only thing missing in this game is count based deviations. Like not hitting on 16 when the count is something like 3+. Looking forward to the ultimate version of this game! Also one little bonus thing I'd like to see that isn't part of the end goal, is being able to turn off poker chips in game, so you can play with poker chips IRL. Something about playing with actual poker chips is so satisfying. :)
