This game needs some serious work. For example crafting recipies should at least make sense, duct tape and cooked meat do not make clothes. A steel axe should require more than just soft wood, ya know like some kind of metal. Next lets talk about lame jump scare attempts, you reach the village and suddenly boom a door burts open with nothing on the otherside, to justify it, ghosts I guess. But ya know what the big kicker is in games that require melee combat, a combat system that works. I reached the top of the mountain after killing wolves and i guess rabid deer to find a bear cool i thought maybe this will be a challenge since the wolves and deer couldnt even hit me. i wasn't disapointed the bear was hard not because he hits hard since he can't hit either but because he has a stupidly small hit box, after 20 mins of trying i hit him only twice and just gave up and walked away he followed me but who cares aparently my character has a hit box somewhere located between his toes and about the size of an ant so he couldnt kill me anyways. I reached a tent at the top of the mountain and the objective never changed, so i walked past the tent maybe 5 feet thinking maybe theres more only to find a hole in the map that i fell through, as the world diasapperead above me so did my hopes for this game!

I played the game for a few hours, this game caught my eye because it reminded me of "the forest", and it was free so I enjoyed that. I had a few problems, 1. There really isn't much of a guide, outside the Guide picture which isn't all that helpful, I know its free roam but I had no clue what to do besides loot the village, then I had no clue how to place a fireplace/torch/furnace (i know now you have to equip it in your hotbar), or simply what tools gather what materials. 2. when it comes to the objectives and notes, I wan't sure if my game was broken, I got to the radio room, with the objective, and nothing happened, I looted the axe and flashlight, looked at the letter, played with the radio, but nothing happened, also are letters supposed to be picked up, I couldn't find a way if so, because i find it hard to read them, also the english needs a little working on. 3. Glitched items, I kepted picking up cosumables, that did nothing, but the thing I had the most trouble with was banana juice. 4. Thirst. Every time I died it was because of thirst, I looted everything I could in the villaged, but after that had no luck whatsoever finsing something for thirst, tried crafting banana juice, but I couldnt consume it, even when placed in my hotbar. How to I get my thirst up? I looked for rivers or ponds everywhere, nothing, this my just of been my fault, but banana juice didnt work. If there isn't one already that I missed, maybe put a reusable canteen or a few more ponds in the game, I constantly died from thirst. 5. I only could craft a few things, and I never learned any new ones, did I need certain resources to craft new things? 6. I Tried using steam overlay to use a controller with this game but even with that, it seemed not to work, most games don't have controller support, so I just played regulary with mouse and keyboard, but Controller compatibilty would be amazing. Someone let me know if there is something I was supposed to do to avoid these issues, if theyre not bugs. I know this game is Early Access, so a few bugs and issues are completely normal. Anyway I really did enjoy playing this, and I'm looking forward to updates
• Spawns in. • Starts looting. Host (friend) dies and we're both kicked back to the main menu and have to restart the game. • I die and I get kicked back to the main menu and can't join back. • We find a note written in the worst English neither of us has ever seen in a game...EVER. • Bump into scary, mutated tree bro that's chasing my friend. I myself got chased by a giant demon bush, but ended up getting one-hit-killed by the meanest deer known to man...and back to main menu unable to rejoin. • Agrees that despite all this the game is awesome. Facts: • There is only one option. That's right. One option. Choosing wether you want your graphics to be on low, medium, high or cinematic. • No saving option yet. Completely hardcore. You die, you're done. • With a GTX1060 and i7 4790k I ran on 30 FPS on Cinematic setting :) Opinion: • All this said. This is still an absolutely gorgeous game. The FPS was solid. Some d-sync here and there. Good looting system, beautiful graphics (hoping for option to turn off postprocessing to get rid of the blur). • The monsters are cool and unique. Fakka youu deer! Requests: If they add more settings (Audio, graphics settings etc) and improve the multiplayer so that we don't have to start over every time either of us die I can see myself playing this game alot more. With no budget and a tiny team the developers definitely did a great job! For pre-alpha it's good.
Just hold shift and jump non stop if you want to see this intersting, unique world. I have never been so scared and so easily amused by a game this incomplete. If you play with friends this game is non stop laughter and frustation. My goal was to find all the poor english notes but sadly I only found 4. Someone take my torch.
Hentai game? like I am kinda confused what are these cards are, literally one of them is softcore porn. But I mean the multiplayer doesn't work, the menus are bugged and you can't turn off motion blur but all and all it has a little bit of potential. But for now, is going to be a neck
I think the game has a lot of potential but it has a lot of bugs but like any pre Alpha Game there's always bugs and the developers should work them out eventually
Hier passiert also nichts mehr. A great game in early access. The Developer works tirelessly with regular updates. The game is great with many predators. I mostly live at the village because i am too scared to wander far from its safety. Keep up the great work Dev.
I see the potential for the game, but here are some things I've noticed that need improvement: the interaction between you and physical objects needs to improve, axes and picks rarely hit, you have to have your crosshair perfectly placed to hit the hitbox, some of the grammar in the notes is abysmal but those are small fixes, flashlight doesn't project light at night time nor day, the objectives could be more specific rather than "located on top of a mountain" when there are many mountains around you, when there is blood on the ground and you have a tool out, when the item is supposed to be blocking the sight of the blood, you can actually see it through the tool, the character and inventory screen can be improved, and the crashes when trying to launch the game can also be fixed. There is a long way to go on this game and the devs even stated it may be unplayable due to glitches and so forth but I believe they will continue to advance the games state and soon it will draw in its own playerbase.
bad developer.
