"This game has very hard and morally conflicting choices" "talk" "Shop" "kill" "Rape" Yeah sure buddy
This downvote is NOT because of the hentai content. Its because the game itself is completely busted when downloaded and played directly from Steam. What one downloads off of Steam is almost like a demo reel, in which only a couple zones are even playable. It turns out that the other 90 percent of the game has to be downloaded from a 'patch' which can still be easily found via googling circa 2026. Why release a game this way, you may ask? Because the rest of the content is filled with a lot of eroge/hentai scenes, with a heavy emphasis on the ability to rape lots of different characters; which isn't really my thing. But I'm also not a very judgmental person. I mentioned in my review of 'Flipwitch' that I think more games should experiment with adult content and that it's interesting when a developer tries to make an interesting game that 'works' beyond it's adult content. (The H-scenes can be disabled via an option at the beginning of the game) Black Souls succeeds at this to a degree, because it's a creative use of RPG Maker to recreate something in the vein of Souls-style gameplay loops. With some annoying caveats. Enemies are visible on the overworld and simply respawn a few seconds after being defeated RATHER THAN remaining gone until the bonfire is used, which makes exploring and backtracking through various areas a real chore at times even though the default battle speed is quite speedy to help accommodate this. The zone design is fairly open-ended. The choice of equipped weapon has a strong influence on your moveset and stats. There are a ton of interesting little NPCs and side-quests, though these often amount to little more than the choice to kill/rape an NPC or to not do that. There are ways to cheese the mechanics of the game for ease of difficulty, and multiple endings to be found; the conditions of which are sometimes hard to parse without looking up a wiki. For an indie RPGmaker title, it has enough interesting gameplay stuff there that I WOULD upvote it--but I can't get over how absurdly busted the vanilla unmodified steam release is. And I feel I have to judge the game by it's storefront merits, not how it plays after hunting down a huge EXE file on someone's google drive, scanning it to make sure it hasn't been adulterated, and then using it to patch the game myself. Very weird. Why release on Steam at all?
whoever told you this game is anything more than goonslop was genuinely brainwashed by libido. It could probably be a fun time if you're the target audience, but don't expect much of anything out of the story or characters. The true ending is predictable and not very interesting. If you feel like getting your rocks off and have extremely poor taste go ahead and buy this i guess
Я трахнул ребенка
挺好玩的,我一直想当好人,但因为没查攻略把兄妹的面包屑给捡了,让温暖的兄妹变成了一对冰冷的大眼怪
конечно было трудно проходить одной рукой, но с горем пополам смог
If you are put off by the adult content this game is infamous for, I understand you. I was kind of disgusted by it but was still very interested in experiencing this game. Thankfully, you can turn the adult scenes of and you don't have to utilize the grape mechanic at all. It's not necessary for any of the endings. I'm so glad I gave this game a shot in spite of its questionable content. The writing is incredible. I got so invested into the story and deeper lore that I went through all of the endings within the span of a few days. It's a heartbreaking, miserable, and in a way beautiful spin on the classic fairy tales we all know. I can only recommend this game wholeheartadly. Don't forget to download the patch if you plan on trying it out.
Почти прошел на концовку С собрал все сказки в обеих библиотеках, но тупорылая Жанна д`Арк не захотела возродиться из пепла. Надеюсь она попадет в бесконечный цикл смертей и каждый раз её будут сжигать на костре.
