[h1]Synopsis[/h1]
Black Smith 2 is a rhythm game. Instead of hitting on a note you have to hit when the hammer strikes the anvil.
[h1]Story[/h1]
You arrive in a new village and move into the old blacksmith's house. The rent was cheap and it looks like the blacksmith just decided to walk out one day and never came back, all of his tools are still there. You have made knives in the past, so you heated up the forge and started working some metal. After about a week the village started referring to you as the blacksmith.
Only merchants visit you and you've taken to talking to the water bucket in your shop. After a few days of this, it started talking back.
[h1]Gameplay[/h1]
Your day consists of five time segments. You don't have a lot of control over what happens during those time segments. Normally you will work four. This involves just pressing the mouse button 10 times. You want to click when the head of the hammer is flat on the anvil. A "critical" hit will award you 10 experience points, a regular hit will award you five experience. You can get less, if the hammer isn't close to the anvil, one or three points depending on the distance away. The more experience you have, the more money the merchant will pay you for your work.
After work you can "Go to the store", which means visit Maya in the brothel, or go to sleep. The more frequently you visit Maya, the longer you will last. If you've been away for a while, you'll be a one pump chump, visit her daily and you can go all night. There is an HP bar, which really should be an excitement bar, when it hits 100 you'll blow your load.
There are six days to the week. A scrap seller will come on one day, the merchant on another, and you rest on the sixth. There are 30 days in the month. I was more than a little shocked that the rent was due, over 58K gold. Fortunately your landlord will let you wait until the 2nd month to pay.
There is a fishing mini game. You drop a line into the water and click when the fish takes the bait. The fish will feint a few times before actually striking. You will see the fish in the water coming to take the bait. There are fish of different sizes, the bigger the fish, the more food you get from it.
Food. I played this game for about two and a half months of game time and I can't tell you how food works exactly. It looks like you go through 4K food a day. This is one of the things that could use improvement, there are a lot of zeros in this game that could disappear. Why should you have to buy 20,000 food when you could buy 20 food? The same goes for a lot of the stuff you spend money on.
After you've visited Maya a few times and built up your relationship will her, she will use more than her mouth. Just like you she has an HP, excitement, bar. When she gets to 100% she will orgasm. Just like in real life, women are more slowly aroused than men, so you'll need to control yourself. There is a stop option that will lower your bar, but keep Maya's bar the same. As your experience with Maya grows, you will last longer then Maya.
The maximum feeling is 10. Maya will lose .5 feeling a day that you don't visit her, even if she's not available. There are "Dangerous" days with Maya. Once you have unlocked the bedroom you can actually give her a cream pie on those days. I don't believe she get pregnant, I only did it once, right in the middle of her "Dangerous" days. But her feelings for you go negative if you try to knock her up.
There is only one girl, Maya. There are four positions: oral, cowgirl, doggy, and missionary. As you progress in the game Maya will dress up in the bedroom for you. She has four outfits to select from: swimsuit, sailor suit, black lingerie, and nurse.

There is no Gallery, but you can visit Maya almost daily…provided you have the money.
[h1]Final Verdict[/h1]
I really want to recommend this game, as Maya is gorgeous, but it is a real grind to get to do anything with her and the cost of this game is sky high when not on sale. If you get it, prepare for the grind.
