Equipped with a flashlight, investigate an abandoned funeral home that's said to be haunted. Find out what really happened to the people who once worked there, and hope that this dark, eerie building doesn't become your final resting place.

Very scary at first, but then my frustration over the crappy save system overpowered my fear. Why should I have to start so far back every time I die? Manual saves would fix this save entirely. Even with that issue, the game is free so it doesn't hurt to give it a chance. But man, ♥♥♥♥ that ladder sequence.
Not for me but if you like really loud obnoxious screaming you might be into it.

У меня инфаркт от этой игры. Неожиданные появления всяких тварей, жуткие звуки на bg, жуткая в своей простоте графика, а эта баба на которую нельзя смотреть - отдельный вид хоррор-искусства.
Holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥. Where do I start. I clipped through the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ floor twice. The code didn't spawn, I had to look it up online because It just didn't appear. Enemies are dumb and infinitely loopable. Too much text for so little informations. The second basement is found completely at random. James spawned next to me during the gate opening sequence and the gate stood closed for some reason. And most importantly, I never understood what to do because the dev expects the player to just know where to go, what to read and what to do to activate a spawn of a key. Yes, the keys just appear after doing something unrelated. And the worst part, that drawer that they kept mentioning about having something inside that the little kid tried to open... it never ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ opened. Timed mode is almost unplayable. Please, don't play.
For the price of Free To Play, it's a somewhat decent horror game. The game's mechanics are pretty simple, if annoying at times; standing "close" to the ghost will increase your points, with the rate being determined by how close it is. Don't stand near the ghost too long or you die. Survive long enough and the ghost will go away. In some cases, you will need to bust a door down; hold space for a couple seconds, let go, rinse and repeat until door is down. There are two modes to choose from when playing: Timed Mode and Story Mode. Timed Mode is essentially a shorter version of Story Mode that the game says you should start with to get a feel for the game's mechanics. In this mode, you must survive the first ghost you'll be dealing with a few times, unlock a couple of doors and a treasure chest, and reach the mode's...anticlimatic ending. You get bonus points based on how fast you finish. Story Mode is where most of the content is at. You start out in the funeral home's entrance, and must move through it without being caught by the resident spirits. Unlike Timed Mode, there are checkpoints which will save your progress. There are a pair of somewhat confusing puzzles in Story Mode but otherwise you'll know what you need to do to move forward. Story Mode's checkpoints are also a little too spaced out in the first half of the game (there's multiple opportunities to die before the first one). A couple issues to take note of before playing:

Your settings (sensitivity, volume, etc.) will save on game close, but will reset when loading/reloading from a checkpoint.
There will be a section of the game where you must find a loose floor tile by clicking around at the ground. Had to look at a walkthrough to find out.
There is a quick-time event at the end of the game that will mislead you on how to perform it. You must alternate between pressing A and the left arrow key, and pressing D and the right arrow key. In addition, you have to be pretty precise with the pace you're pressing the keys. If you get stuck, I recommend using a macro to trivialize the process (The one I used can be found here).
Очень страшный хоррор, много скримеров и звуков, при этом очень хорошо продуман сюжет. Ночью играть не рекомендую!
