Black Light Kills

Would have been good to see a save system at the start of each level as there are 2 endings meaning you have to re play the whole 1 hour again just to get the 2nd ending. AN OK game but no real gameplay as most of the gameplay was cutscenes for every jumpscare. You would get 40-60 seconds gameplay then horror cutscene, then another 30 seconds gameplay then horror cutscene,t 20 seconds gameplay, cutscene, collect a key, cutscene, collect 2nd key, cutscene. I get it's a horror game but cut scenes were overdone for every horror moment. Open a door to a cutscene. Music was good, sound effects good. Jumpscares a little overboard. They were right up in your face with sound effects like screaming. The start first jumpscare I jumped but after that it was funny. Good game to play for an hour. No achievements. 2 endings but sadly as no save, if you want to see the 2nd ending it means you have to replay an hour again from the start. I acciddentally missed out a door early on as a door fell down and I thought I would continue on ahead and jump the gate, but then when I tried to turn back to go back to the room, the game wouldnt let me so it made me wonder what I missed? Maybe 2nd playthrough I will see. an OK game 6/10 for effort as the developer stated at end credirs it took him ages to make this game with redo's etc. if you want to play a horror game for an hour, get this on discount. I ran through it as I was rushed for time so it took me an hour, but I guess walking and taking your time would probably make it a bit longer. overall rating 6/10.
