They are very bite sized, but the nest was for sure the best one.
<3 I HATE THIS SKINWALKER <3
A neat collection of five horror games that all are quite different in approach to horror, but all quite fun. The Bewdley Incident - A really neat concept that didn't seem to pay off. A kind of rear-window esque idea; keep a watch on your three neighbours to determine which is the skinwalker. The game seemed to hint at there being a few 'tells', but I couldn't really find any doing anything too weird. You just have to kind of wait for an obvious tell to happen when you can't see one of them. Maybe I just got lucky though. Wasn't able to find the last of t he endings. Booi's Spooky Vacation - Probably my least favoured of the games. Most of it seems to come from unsettling images than any actual scares, followed by a shooter fight with the end boss. Didn't help that the conversations didn't give you enough time to read it to know what was happening. Wasn't hard to figure out, but. A Date To Remember - Meeting up at someone's grandma's house for a date, you have to avoid being killed. With no random-locations for items spawning, nor wondering enemies, it's fairly easy and not that scary. Loved the vibe of it though/ The Nest - I really wanted to like this one. It's a great concept; stuck underground only able to see the lights of the mine for guidance, great. Just you need to find five bits of randomly scattered wood, and you can't ever really see them. Or anything outside of the lights. If there were some way of illuminating an area, even if only a little for a short period, it'd help a lot. Or having some mapping system. Sure, you're meant to be stumbling around in the dark, but after getting lost looking for some wood that I don't know if I've just walked past, I had to just give it up, and kind of soured my mood from playing Statuam. For a free game? These were good. Nothing too scary or spooky, some with a great atmosphere, and some that could use more work. People who are into 'proper' horror games might not get much out of this, but it's enjoyable none the less.
Loved it! If you're like me, if you like to play short horror games from Itchio, this is the thing for you! I wont say that every game here is amazing and life changing, they're just fun to play
it s nothing special but it s good favorite from the collection: garage
