A cozy, comfy game with adorable protagonist and a variety of colorful characters. The gameplay requires a lot of wits to calculate the perfect recipe for every character and every event.

Birb Café is an incredible little story with extraordinarily well-written characters. It presents itself as a funny visual novel with an added coffee-making mechanic, but then it unravels into a much deeper story whose characters show incredibly diverse and colorful personalities, some with accents you can hear despite the lack of voice acting; and twists you just don't see coming with this level of storytelling. Despite it all, Birb Café doesn't stray too far from its light-hearted premise, yet embraces its vibe and owns it. The coffee-making mechanic can be a little confusing at first and does require a learning curve, but the well-polished tutorial and interface help you wonderfully along your journey as the kingdom's favorite NPC, and the game delivers accurate, satisfying repercussions on the story depending on your outcomes. This game shows it was 100% made with love and dedication and, especially for this price, I certainly recommend it.

What a delight of a game! A great mix of visual novel storytelling and dialogue, a fun potion-mixing (coffee brewing) mini game, all wrapped up in a story centered around D&D-style adventurers and the heroic quests they go on. The art is charming, the characters memorable, and the story engaging. 10/10, very cute birds contained within

Adorable, chill game about making coffee for adventurers. You need to pick the right ingredients and recipe to succeed in each quest, and while this starts easy enough, some of the later days can get tougher to figure out. While there are only 2 different endings here, there's plenty of variety in the dialogue and character interactions depending on which quests you've failed or succeeded in. And that's my favorite part about the game: the dialogue and lovable cast of characters (Krieg might be my personal favorite, but they're all great). I never felt like the story dragged on, and the characters work well with each other and have some hilarious lines. The character art has lots of different expressions/poses too (which is something some visual novels are really lacking in), and the music is excellent. It's about 5 hours for a playthrough, and a fun ride all the way through. (One thing I'd like to see is a "back" button in Caff's shop, because if you forget to save on the end of day screen then you have to go through a whole new day before you can save again)

Absolutely adorable casual game with a cast of funny and lovable characters! Easy to get to grips to, has an overall comfy feeling and some genuinely funny writing that's gotten more than a fair share of laughs out of me. Very excited to see what comes next from this dev!

I'm haven't completed this game yet, but I wanted to make a quick positive review to help the game get noticed. I'm really enjoying the game so far. The dialogue is really well done and is often humorous, and the characters are really interesting. I really like the pleasant artwork, and the character designs are very creative and really fit the characters' personalities. The characters' facial expressions and body poses change appropriately with their dialogue and moods, and makes the scene lively and engaging. I also like the background music, which changes based on the characters that are in the scene. I get a strong nostalgic feeling from the music, like I've heard the style before, may be similar to old 90's games' music. I'm really grateful for the good tutorial for making the coffee. As I play the game longer, I feel very motivated to make coffee with the best boosts for a given challenge that each character will face. Once I finish the game, I'll update this review, but so far, I really like playing this game, and I look forward to playing it all the way to the end, and then replaying it to find the perfect coffee to make for the adventurers each day. Update: I really wanted to nominate this game for the "Game of the Year" award, but I'm certain that it has a very low chance of winning that, so I decided nominate this game for the "Outstanding Story-Rich Game" award, which I think it has a better chance of winning.

A simple game about following cues for the right reactions! Pretty much if you enjoy Phoenix Wright style of visual novels where actions still matter this is a solid choice. I would have preferred seeing a little bit more importance to the upgrades you can buy, but for the price and time the game asks for, it's solid!
