Krótka piłka: Wizualnie ładny remake gry z 1988, ale tak jak oryginał, ta gra ma irytującą rozgrywkę. Sterowanie i jeszcze raz sterowanie... UWAGA! Tu nie ma skoku! Serio? A układ map jest raczej pionowy niż poziomy. A cała różnica (od np. lepszej Contra z 1987) polega na bionicznej ręce z hakiem, którą możemy się podczepiać i podlatywać zamiast skoku. Samo strzelanie? totalnie przeciętne, a hakowanie? Jeszcze gorsze. A do tego brak tu nawet achievementów! Nie ma tu przyjemności z grania. Despite the annoying required workarounds of downloading and installing additional drivers to get the game to run (a typical issue for many of Capcom's poorly optimized games), I still give Bionic Commando: Rearmed an overall recommendation. This is an old, but largely faithful remake of the original 1987 NES classic. It does in fact run wonderfully on the Steam Deck, though as mentioned previously, you need to first follow a number of steps to get it to work. It isn't a surprise that Capcom is willing to let gamers buy a product that (figuratively) comes out of the box broken. Only purchase if you don't mind putting up with the hassle of fixing the game yourself. With that said, if you own a Steam Deck and want another way to experience one of Capcom's most beloved cult-classics on the go, this is a solid bet. It's clear that Grin (now Overkill Software) went to great lengths to preserve the spirit of the original. All of the NES levels are faithfully recreated in 3D with a wonderfully remixed soundtrack that is completely taken from the 1987 classic. Even the story more closely follows the original Japanese version (originally titled Hitler's Resurrection in Japan) rather than the English language release, in which your mission is to the stop a resurrected Adolf Hitler. While BC: Rearmed never directly says his name out loud, they do strongly imply that Hitler is the resurrected leader of the Imperial Army. To avoid controversy back in the NES days, Capcom had changed his name to "Master D" for the international release. The only parts of BC: Rearmed that are significantly different from NES version are the boss encounters. Aside from one or two of the boss battles, the rest are completely different from the NES version. I wouldn't say this is a bad thing though. There is a good level of variety to the bosses in Rearmed that makes them a difficult but fun challenge to overcome, particularly if you are playing on the Hard or Super Hard difficulty settings. The game is filled with all kinds of jokes and references that fans of the NES game will appreciate. They even managed to preserve the infamous exploding head scene at the end of the game, something I hadn't expected but greatly appreciated as a big fan of the NES game myself. The only unfortunate part of BC: Rearmed on the Steam Deck (for me) is that it can't connect to the 2009 Bionic Commando game. By collecting all 12 secret Yashichi items hidden throughout the levels, you are supposed to be able to unlock Spencer's retro outfit in the 2009 Bionic Commando game. However, no matter what I do, the game just doesn't detect my BC: Rearmed save file. In any case, to anyone who is a fan of retro games or retro remakes and doesn't mind fiddling around with folders or game files, I can whole-heartedly recommend Bionic Commando: Rearmed. It is definitely worth a purchase.

Classic NES gem but more fun! I heard of people having problems running it, but I wonder what is causing that for them...

Каждая нота вызывает ностальгию мгновенно, заставляя вспомнить все те часы, что были потрачены на телевизоре. Геймплей который остался тем же, но ощущается свежее: Взрыв из прошлого: Управление осталось неизменным. Натан Спенсер все так же беспомощен, когда не может схватиться за точку. Это может разочаровывать новичков, но ветераны, как мы, считают это частью его шарма. Это вызов требует мастерства. Сложность которая проверяет навыки: Не ждите прогулки по парку. Rearmed остается одной из самых сложных игр, в которые я играл. Однако, каждая смерть кажется справедливой, а каждая победа заслуженной. Преодоление сложного участка дарит непередаваемые ощущения. Новые дополнения, для тех кто помнит оригинал наизусть: Загадки и головоломки: Разработчики включили головоломки, которые требуют использования биоонической руки изобретательным способом. Это отличное дополнение, заставляющее смотреть на мир под другим углом. Кооператив: Прохождение игры с другом, используя кооперативный режим, дарит новый уровень безумия и веселья. Совместная раскачка и взрывы - это незабываемое приключение. Ностальгия и свежий взгляд слиты воедино: Bionic Commando: Rearmed - это не просто ремейк. Это любовное письмо к оригинальной игре и ее поклонникам. Он прекрасно передает сущность того, что сделало культовую игру таковой, но при этом вносит новые элементы, которые делают ее актуальной для современного игрока. Если вы: В детстве играли в оригинальную Bionic Commando. Любите сложные и интересные платформеры. Считаете, что раскачиваться на биоонической руке - это круто Тогда Bionic Commando: Rearmed - это игра, которую вы просто обязаны попробовать. Она подарит вам часы ностальгии и удовольствия, напоминая о том, почему мы любим видеоигры.
