#tinygamereview

I thought this was just another clicker, but I was wrong. It's a clicker with a message. The message was received. I am positive its developer meant for us to receive it.
✊ EAT THE RICH ✊

🎮 🟥Gameplay: click. 📖 🟪Narrative: It says a lot with so little 🖼️ 🟦Visuals: dark as the future we have by prioritizing number go up

#readme
As of this review, the game has been going for one month, and it's nowhere near 1 billion. I don't think there are a ton of people playing, but I started off as something like #6000+, so there's a good chunk. When I got the platinum (1 million clicks), I was #30-something. So, it stands to reason that a likely majority of players probably open it once, click a few times, and then probably never again. It also means that more than 30 people were doing more than me - that is, clicking faster than 1 click per millisecond (less, in fact, because I believe the game caps out; I should otherwise have reached 1 million in less than an hour, but it took a couple of days instead), or clicking well beyond 1 million, or both. Put the number "1 billion" in perspective for a moment. 1,000,000,000. A thousand million. Can you imagine seeing 1 billion of anything? There are more than 8 billion people on the entire planet right now; imagine one-eighth of that. Do you think you'll ever meet or even see 1 billion people in your lifetime? You won't. Even if you count everyone you've ever seen on television and in movies, you won't even come close. Even if you count all of the people that all of those people that you've seen in your lifetime, you're not likely to get to a billion people. Can you imagine having a billion of anything? Paperclips, for example. They're tiny, right? Having 1 billion of them couldn't take up that much space, right? Couldn't be that hard. In 1998, Whitwell Middle School undertook the "Paperclips" project wherein they collected one paperclip for every person slaughtered in the Holocaust. More than 30 million (a conservative estimate). Around 3% of our goal, here, of 1 billion, with a b. It took 6 years for them to gather that number of paperclips from donors all around the world, even after national and international media coverage about it. 6 years is a long time. Those paperclips occupy nearly the entire space of a large rail car with an interior around 26 feet long, 9 feet wide, and 14 feet tall - 3,276 square feet, give or take (some additional paperclips for the project are stored elsewhere, purportedly to make room for people to enter the railcar and see what's in there). You would need roughly thirty of these rail cars to fit one billion paperclips. As of this review, the collective click count is around 63 million, which is just below 16% of the goal. At the present rate, it will take more than 6 months to reach 1 billion clicks. Mind you, I'm not clicking anymore; I earned my cheevo for the 1 million click mark. I expect others are doing the same. Maybe that means the rate goes down. Maybe over time, more people will be clicking, and the rate goes up. Who knows? One billion is a lot, and it will take a lot to get there. A lot of people, a lot of hours, a lot of clicks. No one can earn a billion of anything. No one. And no collective can do it quickly. The collective, however, can rise up; the collective can stop the counting. The collective can seize the means of counting for itself. By now, you should know I'm no longer talking about clicks. Something-something abolish billionaires.
#memorycard
What stood out: 📌Its scathing social commentary delivered through a minimalist meditation on counting Who it's for: 🎁All my comrades

🤓Curator: Brickroad Amusements
This is a great idea. Extremely basic, but a very competitive system. 2 things: I wish it could take input faster. I wish there was a live leaderboard.
Ok, at face value this game is bland and boring, but I really like the premise here: a communal clicker. Your clicks contribute to a community total. There is a lot of potential here, and many missed opportunities as well. What happens if the community gets to 10 million clicks? Maybe a communal upgrade or power-up, prestiges of some sort? I don't know. Just ideas. Maybe that is the plan for the namesake "billion clicks" which communally has not been achieved yet. Maybe the person that reaches 1 billion clicks will have a stripper sent to their house or something... that would be nice.
