I remember when I first saw this game, I knew I had to get it and after playing it what are my thoughts on it? Well hopefully I can do a good job of writing it down it's been a while since I wrote a review but here it goes! First off starting with the good stuff with the game! It's no surprise that the artwork for this game is amazing it's pixel art and I'm a real sucker for pixel art and I just don't know how to put it into words it's amazing what can I say! I do wonder what artist software they used to draw, was it aesprite? Either way it's very aesthetic and I love the 1990s feel! Next is the soundtrack, damn is it good! It crafted well and fits perfectly with the tone it's portraying, somber music for sad times, chipper music for happy ones, it works so well! What about the characters? Are they good? Absolutely! They have depth and personalities that make them interesting so you want to see their story and how you would interact with them. There is enough to be diverse but not a lot to overflow you and get redundant, a good right amount. The dialogue is silly, witty, and also arousing! The dialogue and the artwork itself will make you get worked up! From the artwork, to the music, to the characters, to the dialogue, it crafts this world that you just wanna explore! However with all pros there are of course cons and this game has some however some of them are from my personal take and some of them aren't. I'll start off with ones that personal. Firstly while I did say the artwork was amazing I feel as though it wasn't used to it's fullest potential. What I mean by this is that when going through the events with the ladies you'll see a lot of repeated sprites for minor characters, in which they usually fall under two categories. They are either some free use art you would find on japanese sites or the same sprite the teacher is but just with different clothing on. Call me greedy but I would of loved to see different variations of student sprites or just artwork of different characters of shopkeeps or doctors. Next, here comes a big question, is this game NSFW and should you spank your monkey too it? Well despite the lewd artwork and raunchy dialogue, the answer is no, there is no form of H-scenes. Damn, WE WERE RIGHT THERE MAN, so whose fault is it? Mine for being so damn horny all the time or theirs for getting me so worked up? There is at least dialogue hinting at you making love but unfortunatly that's only for 3/5 girls, the other 2 are more wholesome I suppose? But come on at least make all of them have a snuggle type scene. Now for the cons that I think everyone or at least most people can agree on. First is that there is no hint system, progression map or tracker, or anything to help you get all the endings. Currently as of writing this I have 6/10 endings, I would be at 8/10 but for two of the endings they just weren't working at least I think I could be wrong. If someone were to make a guide I'll probably go back and get all of them but as of right now I'm going to sit at 6/10 endings. Finally the price, $20 is more on the expensive side for a visual novel. They should of made normal price $15 and on sale price be $10. I can see why they would put it at $20 but it might make someone dissuade on buying this. But all in all, I enjoyed my time with this game it was wholesome, arousing, and I had a good time. Just by playing this you can feel the love and soul that went into making this vn and I love it! I do hope that maybe we could get a small update with a bit more artwork and a type of hint or progression tracking system. But that's me I do hope they make more games in the future especially more lewd ones, it would be peak!
I don't usually write reviews, but considering this is the developer's first game, I thought they might appreciate it. I did really enjoy this game overall, few negatives to get out of the way. -Events and main story mix awkwardly, lots of events take place before the characters have all met each other, so it can be weird doing a character event where the characters talk as if they haven't met, while being around each other in the main story for a while. I think this is an understandable issue when writing a VN, as it can be difficult to manage at times, so it isn't a dealbreaker for me, but it can come off as awkward. Maybe having certain events locked to after certain story parts would have worked better. Can also be an issue with Hifumi as she is growing throughout the game, and depending on the order she may randomly be smaller or bigger, a bit silly. -A lot of asset reuse for NPCs that aren't the main girls, being an indie game I get it, I appreciate they at least poke fun at it a few times, awareness on that issue is nice to see at least. -Scale of the girls can be awkward at times, main issue is when they are picking you up at your house, feel like you could have made a screen where they are looking in through the window, I think it would have worked better. -Bit more of a mixed point, but it definitely leans more ecchi than hentai specifically, I don't mind either, but if someone was coming for lots of sex they would probably be disappointed. There are some lewd scenes and nudity, but overall leans more ecchi. I usually prefer a bit more ecchi leaning, but either is fine for me, just thought I should point it out. But at the end of the day, none of these issues for me at least are a dealbreaker, especially when coming from an indie company with likely a fairly small budget, it's understandable, at least to me, none of these detracted from my personal enjoyment of the game. For positives: -Music is genuinely really great. Not a single song I dislike, all fit the mood well. Composer did a fantastic job. -The art is really nice. I really enjoy early Japanese PC-98 aesthetic, and I think a great job was done on that front, the character portraits are really nice as well, all the characters have very cute expressions, especially Yuyu, all of her portraits are pure gold. I think it did a good job emulating the aesthetic. -I appreciate the writing a lot. It was a lot better than I actually expected, while not perfect, I did enjoy the effort put into making this seem like a more believable world, I enjoyed the lore on why things are like this, it feels like the writer thought a good amount about this, and how things would work if girls suddenly started becoming giantesses. Obviously it's not perfect, and has a lot of flaws, but regardless I appreciate the effort put in to explain things when you could have probably just written it off, as it's a fetish game. I enjoyed the random conversations many of the girls had with each other and the main character, I think some would probably say it's a bit intrusive, on some of the topics brought up, but I think it's not that intrusive and fits conversations people would have when just hanging out, which is a lot of the game. The writing can be funny, amusing, genuinely sweet, or really sad at times. I was a lot more engaged than I thought I might be going in. -The characters are really great, they are all very cute, charming, and endearing, and have cute personalities, I had a lot of fun with interacting with all of them, and all of them bounce off each other quite well. Even Naoya was pretty well written in my opinion, and I found a lot of his dialogue amusing. The character event writing was very wonderful, I was very invested in the girl's problems and worries and found the character specific dates of the girls I did do very cute and lovely, especially Yuyu. Even for people who aren't into giantesses and size stuff, I do think the characters would still be endearing and lovely. I can tell a lot of effort and love was put into the character writing, so I can appreciate that and respect it, as character writing in VNs is one of the things I usually like and appreciate the most, so I think a fantastic job was done here, much, much better than I was expecting. Basically, the character writing felt very genuine and very earnest. Especially for Yuyu. She's written as such a genuine and kind person going through a relatable and understandable struggle, and her hometown date and ending are genuinely just heartwarming and adorable. All in all, it has a lot of issues, but I definitely think for a first game, and for being for a more niche audience, I think it's really well done. Regardless of anything, it has a lot of heart and a lot of passion, which I will respect any dev who is willing to put their passion and love for the subject into the game. Great job on your first game, much respect for the team for creating something with passion despite the likely issues during development and publishing. Definitely gonna go back to do some more routes in the future. Basically, at the end of the day, what I'm trying to say is that Yuyu is the best girl, and the perfect woman. If you ever make merch of her, I will buy it. She will remain in my brain for a long time as I character I really like. Thank you for creating the perfect woman.
loved story lines and artwork
I was just expecting a Smut game but It's actually Pretty funny, Even if Giant Girls aren't completely your thing if you've ever wanted to try out a dating sim that isn't janky or difficult to understand then this actually a pretty good one. The art is the Highlight
Funny, sexy and full of good old fashion growing giantess goodness. This truly ticks all the boxes. Not to mention the gorgeous art style!
This game taught me how to love again, truly a life changing experience to ever grace the gaming landscape. Absolute cinema. 200/10 would recommend
剑走偏锋不过如此 希望有朝一日能看到汉化
This game does have a lot of fan service, duh but it really does feel like it's much more than that. It has lovable characters with fun personalities and touching backstories. The characters' personalities are based on established archetypes but each of the characters still have their own nuances and features. There is also a character you would never expect to be in the game but I recommend playing yourself to find out. The worldbuilding is pretty impressive too with how much detail they put into how the giants interact with the real world, makes Jotun-shi feel like a real place. The dialogue is hilarious, this is one of the only games that got me laughing out loud. You have to at least give the writing a shot, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Bopping soundtrack as well that is just awesome listening to. You can see the areas where the budget started to evaporate, you will see a lot of reused models but still, the quality for a visual novel like this surprised me quite a bit. If you're thinking about this game, I definitely recommend getting it.
i loave women big giant ohhhh
Adorable game, lovely visuals, good music. Also, there a lot of references and plenty of humour. One problem - in my opinion, game have too much Grinding with those character stats and they are not intuitive. To get specific ending, you need certain stats and there is too little time to earn them. Generally cute game, especially if you into giant girls. 9/10
