Mind the typos This game is wonderful, I have played other visual novels (Japanese ones) and I have never felt ANYTHING for fictional characters that I have "talked" with, up until now. Especially for Yuyu's and her route, it was so earnest and heartwarming. I tried to stop playing but I couldn't and wanted to see what would happen next, and ended up staying till 1AM. Don't expect going into this game as just "OH YEAH! GIANTESS GOON GAME!" its more than that...kinda. It has its freaky moments that reward the player for progressing and getting the right stats and dialogue options with nicely drawn CGs and "freaky" text. This will be my first like actual review with actual thoughts, instead of, (gayme guud). Side note when I streamed the demo with my friends in discord, they gained interest in purchasing this game even thought they were unfamliar with the genre. I'm glad this game eased them into the genre and I hope they enjoy it as well as I did. Writing- To me personally its perfect, it kept me engaged and I never felt like skipping dialogue except when I had to reload saves. Though the major factor I believe is the fact that this was made for native English speakers (from the U.S.). Reading through Nekopara, NinNindays, Raising a Wolf Girl, GO GO NIPPON! and so on, didn't really engage me with its writing or grab my attentions aside from the lewd scenes that are in some of them (obviously). I'm not saying I hated the writing in those games, its just that I didn't feel it grabbed my attention as well as this game. Translated works (that I have read) don't have the kind of feel that this game had, and because a work is "translated" the dialogue is a bit "stiff" I would say, looking back (to me personally, not saying anyone else thinks this way). As I mentioned earlier the target audience is native English speakers, and there's many jokes that would only make sense if you were one. Theres a lot of 21st century humor and pokes fun at the oddities of the real world. Though bias as it sounds, I think that is what makes it its strong point. While this game is all about giant ladies, it doesn't make itself all about how hot would be to be with one, ogle them, and whatnot, it goes into depth into the daily problems and norms the giants face in the world. But yes, there are "God I wish that were me moments" in this VN. The stories of each character flows naturally. Speaking of which. Characters- Its what your freaky heart desires and then some. The designs are cute and so are their quirks (some are scary, if you know, you know) but I loved seeing how each of the ladies interacted with "Naoya" and each other. Just a group of college friends and a MILF just getting together, talking about whatever in a natural environment. I anticipated to see where their backstories would lead and how the story unfolds, and actually felt a bit said and nervous once they opened up their shell. Each lady is more than just their stereotype, they are your friends (and more) that have their own thoughts and ideas that delve beyond it. Also I think another contributing factor as it depicts how some people would imagine a childhood best friend. For example Hifumi and Naoya in their own language you could say, and speak about all the mundane things of their past to really sell it. They are more than the sum of their parts. Engaging with each woman's events and dates is amazing, sensual, and down to earth. It felt a 'little bit' real. I felt nothing but happiness for Noaya and Yuyu for their route, and never did I see myself as him. Naoyas happiness is his own, I just got the stats required for him to get it. Man I can't express my thoughts well. ART- I have no complaints for the pixel art style, its a breath of fresh air (to me) to the standard detailed anime woman drawn on a 'puter or tablet. The artists did a fantastic job. Be sure to follow them on twitter and support them via commission! They did a job well done! The game would be better with more CGs and character art for sure though, but hey you can't rush art. Music- ITS PRETTY GOOD! Sets the tone well and it doesn't get annoying either despite a song repeatedly playing on a loop, but hey thats just me. Sorry I don't have much to write here, I didn't really put all much thought when listening to music or trying to describe it. Thoughts - While there is some inconsistency with the story and events, I wouldn't say its a dealbreaker but it kind of interrupts the flow of the overall time and story that is told in the game. Example: I could be well into the game and see that Hifumi has changed, but when I see her first event after an in game year, it doesn't connect with the current timeline. I'm not sure how that could be fixed but I don't have any problems with it personally. -Achievements would be nice but I understand that time crunch is a thing, if it were to be added in the future that would be pretty nice as well as cloud save - MORE ART PLEASE! - Being able to delete old saves as they clutter the save book - I was thinking more music tracts as well, but they wouldn't be necessary I believe, the music is fine as it is. To support the game more, I would like to buy a downloadable soundtrack. - Yes this is a GTS-oriented game, its for freaky people like me who enjoy the genre. And I'm glad this game wasn't just very lewd fetish game, like one you would see on a Japanese DLsite. I'm glad I this VN came out and I hope for more content by the team in the future. - I hope the team makes a Big Beautiful Women PART 2. It could take place in the same city but with different characters. Thank you RakuenSoft team and thank you Gaben for having this game on Steam! I hope for nothing but success for you guys (Gaben included)
I've been a big fan of RakuenSoft's stories for a few years now, so I am ecstatic to return to characters of My Giant Girlfriend, now with a great new story made for the VN medium! The art-style and music are just as delightful & endearing as the ladies themselves. Each giantess stands apart for the others, so there's bound to be at least one girl that meets your fancy, and you can enjoy pursuing her route all the way to The Confession. The glorious gems of this game are undoubtably the many CGs to unlock-- showcasing those extra special scenes that just can't be done justice with sprites alone! Visible size-difference, unique outfits, and oooh Mama that sweet, sweet spice! The accompanying dialogue & plot elevates the art and brings me back to reading Rakuen's stories on DA: Irreverent humor, near-instantly likeable & unique characters, fun & ecchi relationships... naturally growing into great erotica. A small issue that pops up from time-to-time is that the text can become inconsistent with itself. Characters talk as if they are first meeting, when a prior event had them on a first name basis; There's mention of "no giant being over 60m" by the Prof., but the text previously spoke about a woman larger than 70m; Etc. There's also a couple spelling/grammatical mistakes. All that being said, this world is already shamelessly bizarre and unserious, so these are merely inconsequential nitpicks. Lastly, I really appreciate all the cameos and easter eggs from many other Fiyafiction characters: Chi (Every NPC), Mami (The buxom sorceress), Strawberry Black & Abruna the Barbarian (Fictional characters even within this fictional world), (blink-&-ya-miss-it cameos) Aldessa & Yako. And While there are several mentions of cowgirls in dialogue; unfortunately, I have yet to find any of the cowgirls from one of Rakuen's best stories making an appearance in BBW. Perhaps Nami, Tao, & Saeko might be the stars of their next VN. One can hope! :) 9/10 Great Adventure, Fantastic Art! Keep it up, RakuenSoft!
SOME SMALL SPOILERS AHEAD: TLDR: I have some slight gripes with the game, but it's fun and enjoyable and has some really good art and size kink integration. You can tell some of the author's opinions on different topics and they come through in the dialog and I don't agree with all of them, but it doesn't hamper the experience too much (no real red flags that I found in 20+ hours of play). Most of the game and story design is good, but it has some decisions that I didn't gel with. If you like Giantess stuff, you'll very likely enjoy the game. I like reading and stories and characters, but if you don't you'll likely not gel with the game (but it's a VN so like IDK what you'd want lol). I haven't played too many Visual Novels in my time, but I have played a good few. I'm more of a Jack of all trades when it comes to games, so take the review with a little bit of salt, but I think it's overall a good time! I like a good amount of the dialog and scenarios, and while I don't specifically like some of the tones of the politically leaning dialog and story arcs, the game made me emotional at a few points and outright laugh out loud a bunch of times! Some of the specific lines the MC had did take me out of certain scenarios here and there, but nothing too egregious. You can really tell that the writer shows their heart on their sleave with their writing, which I can appreciate to an extent, but others may not. The 4th wall nudges were well done mostly and they aren't heavy handed. I feel like some of the more esoteric stats in the game (the non-tracked affinities, secret stats etc.) affect the endings a bit too much considering how little they come up and how easy they are to miss. Because these types of games are meant to be replayed, I think it would have been cool to give a way to see those stats in game AFTER an ending has been reached. There is a very good (but not fully comprehensive guide) on Steam that I would never have found certain things without, so shoutouts to the user "Dingus" for that guide. I'm personally a fan of games that have secrets but showcase them in subsequent plays to folks willing to dig deeper. I found a good number of endings and it was fun to do so, but I was hoping that subsequent runs wouldn't need as much adherence to the stat system to get more endings. If the stat system was a bit more involved then I would enjoy it more I think, but I can understand why it was implemented. I'll be real, some actively important dialog made me think it was actually a joke, which I think shows how well they were able to mix jokes and more serious/sensuous dialog together. I just think that adding some text (maybe a different color?) to showcase if things are important on a second go could be good. I loved the art style and the hard work done on the CG art, though I wish there were more backgrounds, but its a good amount of them considering this is an indie game with a small team. The backgrounds that are there are quite good and I love the little details and references that some of them have! There is a lot of game/internet/TV references in the game and some may find it tiring or annoying, but I enjoyed them for the most part. The game does a pretty good job of painting a picture with its dialog too. I only found 3 typos in 20+ hours of playing which is nice. Overall, I'd give it an 7/10, I'm going to try and play more later to get all the CGs, so I think the game is undeniably worth it, especially if you like Size content! UPDATE: I have finished most every route in the game and seen most of the dialogue, there were a few uses of words I am not happy to see in the script, but I don't think that they were put there in malice, the usage was in poor taste and I'd recommend the removal of them from the game. Other than that, all of my review still stands, the games' routes are pretty good overall even though I would change a thing or two, this game has fun writing and good moments all throughout.
Random bug? I went through Jun's Route and somehow, I got to the end and ended up pairing with maya after everything? i didnt even interacted with Maya once?
It was fun and suggestive but not sexual, which was mostly a plus. Also, it's explored kink in gaming, so I hope they make more games. Fun game you should play. Only criticism is that when all characters are on screen, it can be easy to lose the scale of the girls. In the future the smaller gts pixies should be shorter or our camera could be angled slightly up.
Really good example of how to do a dating sim, especially one involving a bit of a niche fetish/interest. The writing understands what the goal of the game is about without ever getting too ham fisted with it. The characters are varied and rounded with different goals, desires, and even kinks. All of that alongside the excellent art and the interesting world building do it justice. Cons/critiques do exist though. On more than a few occasions it felt like certain conversations with certain gals were expected to occur at particular dates, but weren't, and so led to some awkward situations like characters who had gotten to know each other well via such well written group moments... suddenly were meeting each other for the first time, or forgot important bits of backstory, or changed in terms of overall size rather abruptly. I also felt like some characters remained too static in terms of how they interacted with the protagonist, or changed in ways that seemed a bit railroady. Without any spoilers, I felt that Jun's arc was clearly written to go one particular direction, and the ending that I wanted for her came off as rather sudden and a little jarring when it did occur. Finally, while I understand why (censorship is only increasing in this wonderful world of ours) there are some scenes that I wish went deeper into the smut. This game does not pull punches in terms of what the gals like or want to talk about, but when its time to *act* on certain things, I feel like on more than one occasion it does. Again, speaking to a particular ending for Jun especially, but also certain scenes with Hifumi could have gone deeper into the horny IMO. And in general, even if that wasn't something the artist/writer/whomever wished to dive deeper into specifically, there were character moments I felt were left on the cutting floor too that could have been super interesting towards the end of some arcs. TL;DR: In a world that thankfully is getting more macro/giantess content in it but where it is still a heavy niche, "Big Beautiful Women" IMO is the new bar to compare one to when making something in this particular space and genre. The art is great, the writing moves well between horny, funny, silly, and genuinely touching, and the game is LONG too (for a niche/fetish VN!) so there is a lot of content. It's got some blemishes, but is well worth dealing with them for whats here.
Peek Fiction, Loved it from start to finish, if you love size and big women then pick this up and play it.

You know what I am.
This game feels like it was made specifically for me. Its quite vanilla but I highly encourage any giantess fans to pick this up because we need more content like this. What is like: It knows what it is and who likes this content and is perfectly tailored to those tastes. It's chock full of references to many other games, manga and memes, both well known and obscure, but I recognised so many, especially ones related to big sexy women that no one ever talks about. Hifumi. The writing is mostly light hearted with a pretty sexy vibe, but can range from completely wacky to somber and serious when it needs to. The pixel art style is beautiful. HIFUMI. That being said, it's not perfect, there are things, mostly in the writing that caught my attention. The bad: A bit of inconsistency in the writing, this took place in two way. Characters would meet up for main story line events and be all friendly with eachother, but not even know our have met eachother in their own personal story lines. Sometimes, information is a bit inconsistent when pursuing individual characters stories, for instance, how durable giantess girls are, or how tall hifumi's parents are. The worst thing about this game is that we don't see hifumi grown so big she could crush the planet in her chest. It also runs rather long, with a bit too much grinding and rng in how you gain stats (although you can just use the mouse wheel to reroll stats as much as you like) Overall however, this game was clearly made by passionate giantess fans for giantess fans and it shows. I can definitely state this is the best giantess game ever made, it deserves a 10/10 for that. But my more critical eye for all the details can't give it more than a 7/10. Still absolutely worth a pick up
