Big Ambitions is a revolutionary role-playing business sim. Go from nothing to the biggest entrepreneur in New York by opening small businesses or slowly building huge corporations any way you like.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 20/day in the week to Aug 28 → 78.43/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Your bank balance is tiny, but your ambitions are big.
With a little help from your uncle, you get an apartment and your first job. But then it's up to you to achieve success and take over New York City any way you like.
Slowly build multiple small businesses, grow them into huge corporations, or carve your own unique path – the possibilities are limitless in this vast business sandbox. You've never played anything like this!
Go from a small apartment and public transport to luxury suites, fast cars and designer furniture. Put your money into investment funds and real estate. Succeed, fail, rebuild. But remember to take care of yourself, sleep and stay happy on your rise to the top.
Do you have what it takes to build your own empire?

Go from nothing to the most prominent tycoon in New York. Start a business, work smart, make it thrive and enjoy your life. How do you want to be successful? How far can you push it? How long can you make it last?
Start your own gift shop, supermarket, coffee shop, law firm, clothing store, liquor store, florist, and more. You decide what success is - whether it’s a single shop, a chain of fast-food restaurants, a huge corporation, or making millions developing websites.
Take out a loan, rent a building, design the logo, renovate the store, get stock, manage your money, hire staff, and build your infrastructure. Soon, you may have to start importing products from the harbour and distributing them through a network of warehouses.
A bigger business means managers. Hire HR Managers, Logistics Managers, and Purchasing Agents. They all need desks and computers, so you’ll need a fancy headquarters.
Need a delivery truck? Travel to a dealer and buy one. Need food? Go to a supermarket, but make sure you have a refrigerator at home. Big Ambitions is a life sim where your character has to physically interact with the world to survive and succeed.
Enter any building in New York and buy it. Go from a small apartment to a dream penthouse in midtown, a luxurious townhouse in Hell’s Kitchen, or a series of skyscrapers. Fill each with furniture that suits your style and standing. Invest your hard-earned cash in real estate to grow your empire. Take over the city piece by piece.
Spend your wealth however you wish. Buy a big SUV, a speedy sports car, or the new luxurious Mersaidi S500. Maybe risk it all at the casinos or put your money into investment funds and reap the rewards.
As you progress, you always need to ensure you get enough sleep and stay healthy and happy. Enjoy the journey, for as you grow older, you’ll discover that money can’t buy you time... or can it?
Big Ambitions takes what you love about the viral sensation ‘Startup Company’ to even greater heights.

The game is very addictive; the urge to generate huge amounts of cash hooked me for a long time. However, once you're past creating your own factories, it becomes repetitive fast. At some point I was spending 80% of my time negotiating wages to far below the minimum (most of my cleaning staff was paid $4-6 / hour), and the other 20% was spent sleeping to make time go by fast. Making $2.000.000+/day, and since all the other stuff was automated, nothing else seemed to be worthwhile. The game has huge potential, and the fact it already had me playing over 100 hours while I found some parts repetitive shows that. If I had to make a suggestion to make it better, it would be this: Right now, once you've built and automated to your heart's content, the game loses its appeal fast. You could spend more time trying to beat rivals, but the mechanics for that are very shallow: you buy their businesses or the buildings they hired for their businesses, and that's how you defeat them. Some of those buildings are very expensive though, so you're forced into the grind, which, as I said, is very repetitive after a while. At worse, rivals will try to attack you by lowering prices for goods you sell, but once you generate a decent revenue, it's hardly even noticeable. If anything got me hooked, it was generating huge amounts of cash so I could beat the rivals. Flesh that out as much as possible: diplomacy, stealing influential staff, partnerships, ... and go further with it in other domains as well: limit deliveries on resource shipping contracts, so you need to compete with the rivals to get it. Give meaning to expensive cars and boats, making your business standing go up, which in turn lets you close better deals on all sorts of contracts ... Paying your staff worse than the competition, or offering less benefits, etc, should make it harder for you to find good staff. HQ staff should be competed for too; create limited exceptional staff, which, if you want them and to hurt your rivals, you'll need to steal from your rivals. Give headhunters with good skills the ability to discover a rival negotiating with one of your exceptional staff, and ways to prevent that staff from switching sides. The exceptional staff could give a strong bonus to your overall business: exceptional HR managers reduce the amount of complaints from staff by x%, exceptional logistics managers lower all costs of their warehouse or factory by x%, etc. Anyway, great game, it has huge potential, I'm looking forward to the next updates.
i enjoy simulation games and this one i get lost in for hours
Love the game, but i reckon that we as the player could have more lifestyle options... if the game had npcs that interact with your character and stuff (being able to have a family!!!), because the game feels like SIMS but about bussinesses wich is awesome, but i believe that if the creatores added let´s say.. more furniture, more objects to interact in your house, even a garage in some apartments like in GTA5 wich you could customize. Not only those home/apartment features, but maybe in the future have a racetrack in the outskirts of the city where you could race against the computer; having like a sports side of bussiness like being able to buy/invest a basketball/whatever sport you like team; being able to gamble morre than 100k in the casino at blackjack... What i would like is for the game to have more real life features!
Jeden Cent wert!
Too many bugs, fun game, but keeps crashing all the time
I've had so much fun building up a business empire, if they can find a way to add multiplayer then this game could be as big as the sims.
