Beyond Sunset

Holding right click makes you invincible and lets you deflect bullets back at the enemies. Almost every encounter in the time I've played can be beaten by standing in place and holding the deflect button. Bizarre lack of any semblance of challenge.

Nice old-school boomer shooter. Do not expect deep RPG elements and immersive sim, but the atmosphere is catching, the sound is awesome. I do not mind backtracking, so it works well for me. The movement is convenient, good selection of weapons. I recommend it.

Is good

I'm loving this game. The aesthetic is incredible, the combat and movement are fluid and satisfying, the diversity of enemies always keeps me on my toes and engaged, the environments are well-varied and diverse as well, the storyline is intriguing...I definitely recommend this for any fans of cyberpunk games and/or Doom-style combat. 8.5/10

cyberpunk samurai kill robots

I have been wondering around aimlessly for most of the game with no direction. The game gives you no direction so you will do nothing but loopes.. developers if you read this please patch the game so we can k ow where to go.. I highly dont recommend

I stopped playing after beating the first act to write this review. I truthfully think I just found one of my favorite games of all time. The 1990s style Cyberpunk era, mixed with fast paced brutal doom shooter combat is unmatched in its current genre. There's never been a game that so effortlessly throws you into a universe that resembles old shows like AD POLICE, or Cyber City Oedo. If you have any respect for doom shooters and retro titles and wish they mixed with retro futurism and bright colored cyberpunk aesthetic, this is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game for you. 10/10

Finished the game in 11 hours or so. The Good: - The basic gameplay loop is A LOT of fun. - The aesthetic is fun. - The craftsmanship is top notch. The Neutral: - Story mainly feels like an excuse for the environements. - Bosses can be a bit of challenge even on easy. - The cyberpunk aesthetic is super cool and certain gameplay elements feel Deus-Exy including some conversation choices and 'hacking', but this game is still very much Doom at its heart. Take that how you will. The not so good - Objectives aren't always as clearly marked as they should be. - Some of the environments are a little too confusing and involved. - Some GZDoom performance issues in large environments.

this game does not work on steam deck it refuses to launch.
