Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Beyond Reality, developed by EternalShadow Studios and published by Aldorlea Games, is a story-focused role-playing game that blends fantasy storytelling with science fiction concepts to create an adventure centered around time, consequence, and the fragile balance between technology and nature. Built around traditional RPG design principles, the game embraces classic turn-based systems while introducing a narrative that reaches across centuries. Rather than limiting itself to familiar fantasy themes, it builds a world where ancient magic and futuristic ideas collide, creating an experience driven more by exploration and storytelling than spectacle. The narrative begins with a catastrophe rooted in the distant past. Thousands of years before the main events unfold, a devastating war destroys the Kingdom of Jastamune, forcing powerful individuals to make desperate choices in order to survive. One of those survivors, the magician Reverent Sulada, escapes destruction through magical preservation only to awaken centuries later in a world transformed by scientific advancement and environmental decline. The future she enters feels unfamiliar and unstable, shaped by pollution, technological influence, and organizations whose actions threaten to reshape the world permanently. One of the game's more interesting qualities comes from how it approaches larger themes beyond its central adventure. Environmental damage and humanity’s relationship with progress become important ideas woven directly into the story rather than existing as background details. The conflict stretches beyond personal survival and expands toward questions involving responsibility, historical consequences, and whether mistakes from the past can truly be corrected. These themes give the narrative greater ambition than a straightforward fantasy quest. The world itself benefits from the unusual blend of fantasy and science fiction influences. Ancient magic exists alongside futuristic concepts in ways that create a setting with its own identity. Rather than feeling disconnected, both sides of the worldbuilding support one another to establish an environment where time itself becomes one of the central forces shaping the adventure. The contrast between older traditions and modern technological systems helps maintain curiosity throughout progression. Gameplay follows traditional role-playing foundations that will feel familiar to fans of classic RPG experiences. Exploration drives advancement as players travel through different regions, interact with characters, uncover information, and gradually piece together the larger mystery surrounding the world’s condition. Towns, story locations, and dangerous areas each contribute toward progression while encouraging players to engage with the setting rather than rushing directly toward objectives. Combat relies on turn-based mechanics built around strategy and resource management. Battles reward preparation and thoughtful decision-making rather than speed or reflexes. Players develop party members over time, unlocking additional options and strengthening combat capabilities as progression continues. The structure remains intentionally traditional, leaning into older RPG design philosophies rather than modern action-heavy systems. Character development remains one of the stronger aspects of the experience. Progression systems steadily expand player possibilities while supporting experimentation with party growth and combat approaches. Building stronger characters creates satisfying long-term progression, particularly for players who enjoy methodical development systems instead of immediate power progression. Storytelling remains the primary focus throughout the adventure. Dialogue and narrative sequences receive considerable attention, reinforcing the game's emphasis on worldbuilding and character interaction. Relationships and conversations carry weight because much of the emotional investment comes through understanding motivations and discovering how different individuals fit within the larger conflict. The visual presentation reflects the game’s independent origins while embracing a style familiar to players who appreciate classic role-playing design. Environmental layouts and presentation choices prioritize atmosphere and functionality rather than technical complexity. While it may not deliver visual spectacle associated with larger productions, the artistic direction supports the tone of the adventure effectively. Music contributes positively to immersion as well. The soundtrack reinforces emotional moments while helping establish atmosphere during exploration and story progression. Audio presentation strengthens quieter scenes and larger narrative developments without overwhelming the overall experience. The game’s commitment to older role-playing traditions may not appeal equally to every player. Modern audiences accustomed to faster pacing and streamlined systems may occasionally find progression slower than expected. Dialogue-heavy sections and traditional mechanics require patience, particularly for players seeking constant action or more contemporary RPG structures. Some systems also reveal limitations associated with smaller independent projects. Certain areas may lack polish compared to larger productions, and pacing occasionally prioritizes narrative depth over gameplay intensity. However, those willing to embrace its design philosophy will likely find value in its ambition and creativity. What ultimately helps Beyond Reality stand apart is its willingness to pursue ideas beyond standard fantasy storytelling. The combination of time manipulation, environmental themes, science fiction influences, and traditional role-playing mechanics creates an experience that feels distinct despite familiar foundations. Players who enjoy narrative-driven RPGs, classic turn-based systems, and adventures built around larger themes rather than simple hero-versus-villain conflicts will likely find plenty to appreciate. Beyond Reality succeeds through creativity and ambition, delivering a journey that values storytelling and atmosphere as much as progression systems. A thoughtful role-playing adventure that successfully combines fantasy and science fiction while delivering strong narrative ideas, satisfying traditional RPG mechanics, and a world built around meaningful themes and exploration. Decent for an RPGMaker game. Also very short (I need more short RPGs please).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtQkYGFF0_4&t=1339s Didn't get very far as I only played this game for a random RPG Maker game stream. The custom art is nice but otherwise goes the usual RPG Maker route of an overlong start just to fight bees. Maybe it gets better later on but why would I trust a game that has such a lame intro?
77% party
This is an "OK" RPG Maker game. Nothing groundbreaking, and pretty short, but it's more entertaining than not. Decent writing, decent storyline, decent combat.
Beyond Reality is a fun, short JRPG. The gameplay suffices, and the story is simple and interesting. It took about 5 hours to play from beginning to end, though I only acquired 11 out of 24 achievements.
