This game is a bit expensive for what it is. This game is no longer supported by the developers as they weren't able to retro-actively add in the CX beys or the ratchet-bit combinations. Get Beyblade X Evobattle instead which has better battle systems, no rock-paper-scissors nonsense and extra customisation like custom metal coat paint options.
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Fun game, wish i had gotten it before the new one came out so i could battle online.
Fix the custom matches so you dont have to make a custom match every time
High speed action in the Beyblade arena with multiple triangle mechanics in terms of game balancing. Also leaving this at the top in the description - game is player friendly for the 2 hour return window. The game puts you into the action fast after a cursory view of the story. You'll know within 20 minutes if this game is for you or not. I do recommend buying to try it then refunding if you don't like it. That said, let's dive into review for real. Like many, Beyblade was an integral part of my childhood 20+ years ago. I only recently found out there are 2 modern beyblade games, so I knew without a doubt I had to give them a spin. A pro and con as other reviews have stated is that this game features triangle balance in terms of beyblades, beyblade parts, and attacks. This will come down to the player whether it is something you agree with. I am a huge Fire Emblem fan so triangle based strategy is like bread and butter to me. Some find this type of playstyle boring, but I find it endearing. There are inputs for attacking and dodge attacking. You can control at the start what direction your beyblade will spin, and the amount of power you start with depending on how good you rip. After that, it is an auto battler with choice selection as the tops spin chaotically around arenas (which there are multiple types of). The reason this is a pro and a con is because some players want more agency in their decision making and sometimes find luck triumphs skill. However, this game does offer a skill ceiling in some regards. Having high reaction speed will help you win battles when you're not making triangle based choices. In short, the actions you take outside of triangle choices (attacking or dodge attacking) matter just as much as rock paper scissors. I love listening to the attack sound effect so I can parry it. There are other sound based ques to help your reaction time. There are anime cut scenes within the battle which is extremely exciting, each special attack has its own animation. That is basically the entire game, which is pretty cool. Nice, simple, high thrilling action, just like real beyblade. You also know how far you are into the game because you have 100 floors to beat and optional side content. Like if you beat 30 floors, that means you're 30% through the game. At the time of posting I'm just 25% through the game, but the gameplay largely stays the same through new arenas and beyblade parts. I wanted to leave this review during the steam sale so I can spread the joy of this franchise. This review is basically finished, read more for my opinions. P.S.: Final opinion/thing I disagree with from some other reviews. Some claim they beat the game in only 10 hours, but that only seems possible to me if you ignore skip the main story, all side quests, and the collection portion of the game. I'm 25% through the game and I have 10 hours. I will probably get 40+ hours out of this game, as an early projection. Mostly likely way more as I really love to collect stuff and I love the battle system. I personally think the real price (and the sale price) is fair. People seem to just barrel through the main story quests and and drop the game, but it has a lot to offer if you explore the in game city screen. Due to the nature of short beyblade matches, it being shorter compared to other JRPGs or action games is normal in my eyes. There are also over 100 million beyblade part combinations so there's theoretically limitless customization even if you don't take advantage of it. At the end of the day, play your way and have fun.
My first beyblade game, i like it alot ngl
DINGUERIE
Gra nie działa dużo problemów z odpaleniem gra się ładuje w nieskończoność po stworzeniu postaci nie polecam tej gry
Slightly tedious at times but otherwise pretty fun. The physics on the beys feel really good.
