Not a lot of horror games in recent times make me truly feel unsettled, but THIS? This game has such a creepy aura to it. It's not terrifying, but DEFINITELY creepy. The puzzles are also pretty fun to figure out.
Вообще хорошая игра жалко только что маленькая
Pretty neat little game. Benny's a silly little guy. The puzzles are pretty good overall, though keep in mind one literally requires you to solve a type of cypher, so you either need to already have this niche outside knowledge, or look up how the cypher method works. I've always had mixed feelings about those types of puzzles. It reminds me of 90's era adventure games that expected kids to know morse code when no one was being taught morse code anymore. Still, for the price this is a fun little puzzle horror experience.
Absolut geiles Horror Spiel, enormst gute Atmosphere und Peak sound design definitv eine 9/10 und jeden Cent wert

Benny Bash is a "game within a game" style horror game. The basic idea if you're playing a Super Mario style game, but what you do "in the real world" changes what happens in the Mario style game. The more levels you beat the more the story unfolds. Likes: - Dark, pixelated / dithered graphics set a creepy atmosphere - Great music - Interesting story - Different gameplay and graphic styles (fps, 2D platformer, faith style segment, etc) - Great puzzles - Multiple endings Dislikes: - Some areas are perhaps too dark. - I can see the later platforming sections being a headache for some people. - Clunky jumpscare animation Overall I really enjoyed my time with Benny Bash, and I look forward to whatever this dev does next.
It brings nothing new to this kind of games.
Game is extremely buggy. It didn't spawn one of the world tiles for world 2 so I was hard-locked out of progression aside from brute-forcing the lock for the unlabeled cartridge and then just looking up the access code (because I literally couldn't progress otherwise lmao). It also permanently left textboxes on the screen making other textboxes unreadable and played the wrong scenes at times, like when I tried turning the clock again to replay level 1-3 in daytime in case bushy had, I don't know, maybe the piece that didn't spawn for me?, the clock didn't turn but level 1-3 was back into daytime, it played the red level 1-3 voice/text lines, and bushy was not present. Overall I lost whatever enjoyment I could've had from the game because it just would not let me continue lmfao
loved it.
