+ • dark cartoon graphics inspired by 1930s animation • great atmosphere • linear but well-told story • a lot of the backstory is told through audio recordings and environmental details • nice mix of horror, puzzles, stealth and combat • different playthroughs are possible for various achievements and choices • lots of achievements - • more stealth-focused than combat-focused …while there is still a fair amount of fighting, the game definitely leans more towards stealth • combat can feel a little simplistic at times and not quite as polished as the rest of the game [h1] Conclusion [/h1] I really enjoyed it. The dark cartoon style and atmosphere in particular are very well done. While the story is fairly linear, it is told in an interesting way and nicely expanded through the many audio recordings and small environmental details scattered throughout the game. Gameplay-wise, I would have liked the combat to be a little more fleshed out in some places, as the game tends to lean more heavily towards stealth. However, with the large number of achievements, it can definitely be worth replaying individual chapters. Vor allem der düstere Cartoon-Stil und die Atmosphäre sind sehr gut gemacht. Die Story ist zwar linear, wird aber interessant erzählt und durch die ganzen Audioaufnahmen und kleinen Details in der Spielwelt gut ergänzt. Gameplaytechnisch hätte ich mir stellenweise etwas mehr aus den Kämpfen gewünscht, da das Spiel doch stärker in Richtung Stealth geht. Durch die vielen Achievements kann es sich aber durchaus lohnen einzelne Kapitel noch einmal zu spielen. Ich bin jedenfalls gespannt auf die nächsten beiden Teile. :3
