Now although i hate the fact that combat is horrible, upgrades cost more depending on difficulty, and the game feels more puzzle and running around more than horror, this game definetely brought back some memories from the original game.

What a wonderful game, man. Bendy and the Dark Revival is not perfect, not by any means. But this is easily one of if not the best mascot horror game out there. Such an insane improvement to the first game in almost every where, the visuals are gorgeous and put the original to shame, which is saying a lot because that original game is still wonderful to look at. The environments and lighting in this game are so strong, it truly feels like a darker and older version of the studio from the first game. The addition of more in-depth mechanics from far better stealth, combat, and general movement is a delight, the upgrade system makes you feel as if you are actually getting stronger throughout the game, and the various abilities you unlock serve to make it even better. Where the original Bendy and the Ink Machine, as well as many other mascot horror games feel that they're catering to a younger audience, or trying to market characters to you, sometimes both. Bendy and the Dark Revival really feels like they were trying to make a horror game, and I feel it is notable that the game lacks pretty much ANY new cartoon characters to market to you and whatnot. This game feels so authentic and you can really feel the passion the team had for it behind every location, setpiece, character, song, and more. 9/10
