About

Attention Operator,
You have been selected to oversee a critical mission. Our team of elite soldiers is set to descend into a newly discovered abyss, believed to lead to uncharted territories beneath the earth. Your role is to monitor the soldiers' progress, ensuring their safety and collecting data.

As they venture deeper, remain vigilant and provide guidance based on their transmissions. You will have access to a status monitor, a radar, a radio to scan various frequencies, and other equipment to assist in your mission.
Be aware that communication may become sporadic as they descend. Strange anomalies have already been detected, and the nature of the abyss remains unknown.

Prepare for the unexpected and maintain operational readiness at all times. Prepare to face the unimaginable.
End of message.

This is essentially very much like Iron Lung in many ways, but with a lot more mobility and interactions. You'll have a very spooky evening with this game.
Games like this are exactly why I gave up on console and switched to PC. Awesome horror game, more than worth the low price. Just get it.

Jump Scare
really liked my experience with this title, all of the horror comes from your head with only 2 jump scares in my playthrough, although the story is very hard to wrap your head around i kinda got the gist of it and watched a youtube video on all of the endings and yeah its Lovecraftian horror about a hole in the ground, the only thing i didn't like is some of the mechanics seem to be not fleshed out as they should, in the beginning of the game one of your crew mates places a camera on facing a strange door they encountered and asks what to do, you can see the door and tell them where to go but later on that same camera there is a creature you can see it but cannot tell anyone about it despite the commander asking you to tell if you see anything on it.
i don't think this workplace is OSHA compliant, it's kinda like being 9-1-1 dispatch for purgatory open-concept office design has finally gone too far
sick game
Pretti spuuki. For less than $8 I'm not offended - it's got lots of atmosphere and some aesthetic charm, and is the first game in quite a long time that made me pull out an actual notepad to solve a puzzle - but I'll admit to being a little underwhelmed once I'd finished my doomed run-through. It seems there are a few all-too-easy pitfalls in terms of funneling players towards a "bad" ending, and the voices feel like they might be computer generated (I could be wrong, I don't exactly speak Russian) - but for the second game from a tiny studio of two people, this still gets a thumbs-up from me overall. It's a bite-sized experience and who knows if the devs made all the assets or not, but I wouldn't call it an asset-flip by any means; it's visually cohesive and has its own identity... even if it's that of a B-movie that lacks any campy self-awareness. The devs show promise, and they've charged less than the price of admission for a movie, or even a fast-food combo these days - and I feel that's worth the effort they've put in here if this is your kind of game. If you love horror games that involve poking at terminals and wandering around a small, spooky area, give it a shot. If that doesn't sound appealing to you - it won't be.
Below, Rusted Gods is one of those rare games that immediately nails its atmosphere and never lets go. The world feels ancient, heavy, and beautifully hostile — every step deeper into its rust‑choked ruins feels like a deliberate descent into something forgotten and sacred. The sound design is phenomenal, with eerie industrial ambience that makes even quiet moments feel alive. The combat is weighty and satisfying, rewarding patience and precision instead of button‑mashing. Exploration is the real star, though: branching paths, clever environmental storytelling, and secrets tucked into places you only notice because the game teaches you to pay attention. It respects your curiosity without ever holding your hand. If you enjoy moody exploration, methodical combat, and worlds that feel genuinely lived‑in, this is absolutely worth your time. It’s the kind of game that lingers with you long after you close it. Highly recommended for players who want atmosphere, challenge, and a world that rewards slow, thoughtful immersion. (If you want, I can also write a shorter punchier version, a more humorous version, or a longer in‑depth review depending on the vibe you want.)
