[b]Cautious recommendation for a short, simple & nicely done tower defense game.[/b] Striking & well-crafted but intentionally fraught & disturbing atmosphere (notably, good sound design which did become grating to me after a bit). Fine tower design encouraging shaping the gutters through which enemies pass in different ways depending on the "terrors" (this game's towers) you want to exploit, but apart from a few cases, general principles of optimised paths remain mostly similar. Only one level out of seven took me more than one or two tries, so it quickly comes to high-score hunting, which can be a bit monotonous. The first time through the campaign really drips with atmosphere though, & is worth the few bucks it costs.

It's... alright. I love the idea of tower defense roguelikes, but this one could use some more difficulty playtesting, because it's [i]really[/i] easy. I played through it three times with different decks, and won each time without even coming close to losing a life. So, recommended for fans of the genre, but don't expect to get much time out of it.

i didn't expect to like this game. The steam page made it look ugly and simple. But i vowed to play every tower defense game on Steam so i played Bella. Turns out, the game is polished, pretty (in a stylized way), fun and kind of funny. The voice reading the tower names is adorable and Bella's personality is cute, in a 6 year old way, The game: It's yet another Slay The Spire rougelite. There are seven maps. i beat the first five on the first try. The last two took forever and i started to think it might not be possible, There are 11 towers, not sure how many relics (18 maybe?). Build a (very short) maze out of tiles. You start with 4 path tiles, 2 towers and 1 relic. It's not long and i'm not sure how replayable it is (you certainly can try different strategies on each map) but i paid full price and i'm totally happy with my purchase.

A Very Good Tower Defense Game !

Easy to pickup, hard to master. One of the best tower defenses i've ever played, especially if you want a challenge and go for the 100%. Cool art, design, music and voice acting, definetly worth it!
