The game has some cool ideas , and a good UI, but is still buggy and laggy which ruins my experience for now. It needs a lot of fixing asap.
Genuinely one of the funnest game experiences I've had in pro wrestling in a long time. Developer is super active on discord and listens to input from players. Early access definitely has some growing pains, but overall so much better than certain other companies right now.
This game has a lot of promise currently. I like how you set up storylines as well as the promo flow, which you can have the game generate or you can add your own. I'd like to see more depth to the descriptions when a match is playing out. That's the overall issue right now though, the game is lacking overall depth. It's in Early Access though so I'm sure that will be remedied in the future. It's cool seeing all the different wrestling management style games!
The game is incredibly difficult to follow and the tutorial disappears if you click out of it and doesn't seem to be able to come back. Also, several drop down menus didn't function properly and the game crashed. It's visually stunning but not quite user friendly at the moment.
EDIT: Right now, this game is just too unstable to play - too many issues with creating promotions, staff members, TV contracts, and events. No rhyme or reason - game just does odd things like turns off your events at the start of the game, ignores your contracts. Its just not playable at the moment. It needs some work before it can get a thumbs up. Game has some positives and some things that are just downright mind boggling. Pros: - Music is good at the start, kind of wish more or different tracks. - Menus are clean, but does have some minor issues. - The engine for building matches, much better than TEW. - Simliar to TEW, good choices regarding how to design a promotion. - Options starting as a promotor are cool, wish there were more archetypes. - Images for wrestlers are pretty cool, get to this later though as a con. - Alot of choices for promotions when starting. - Database editor is alright - The Hook section for each wrestler is pretty good with plenty of options - Epic Matches part is pretty cool to have. Cons: - There are few bugs in the game that cant get around really or you would have dive in to workaround or fix. - Bug with adding staff is definitely a headache. Everytime I start new game with a new company I made, I'd have to go to industry section and activate contract. - Strange bug occurring when I create titles where the data i put in remained in the section. - Editing Database has a few issues in it from time to time. Sometimes it take me 6 clicks to get in to editing a wrestler. - Not sure how contracts for TV work. I couldnt get a TV deal even after having over the required number for popularity. I would just get the "Do not enter" over each TV station, even the lowest local ones. I would hope there is something that provides you notification that you can get TV deals, I did not see this in tutorial. - I have to say, this game has more detail to booking than TEW. But Tag Teams dont seem to be recognized at all when I was booking matches. - Follow up on last thing - seem like no Tag Teams pre-exist from what the database is showing. - The World Event section where you can add awards or conventions - really no explanation of this and doesnt seem to have any existing events in the pre-existing data. What is the purpose of that? - I spent little time building promotion in database editor, ran two shows, which I put 3 titles on the line in one show, these were vacant titles - I went to title section and they are all vacant. Not sure what the issue was - I used clean finish and no titles were awarded to any individual. - Women and Men distinction does not seem to exist in terms of Title holders. There should be some option that allows a title to be women, men or inter gender at least. Zero distinction regarding that. - While booking, I do see color scheme for hell, face or tweener. There should be a mouse over option or something so you can see stats of wrestlers along with alignment, which would definitely help. -There definitely needs more countries, stadiums, sizes of arenas, clubs, or whatever. I had to spend few hours adding countries, regions, etc. just to worldbuild a little bit. -There needs to be way more pictures and wrestlers. The pre-existing world is lacking alot in this game, there isnt many options to sign free agents to include staff. Need more pictures, I do want to add pictures to the game because it will look completely out of place compared to what already in the game. - Staff bug is quite annoying. Create a new company and create some staff and workers. Workers showed up under contract, while I had to go digging into industry section and "activate" contracts. The team stated they are working on the issue. - Little strange how the way booking works for events you create. I ran a show and booked it, completed the booking but it still showed that I had a show on same date to complete. I did advance but not sure what happened besides getting some news about other promotions. - The broadcast button in the news - does it actually do anything? - I ended up with getting cash on off day, not sure for what. But I ended up losing money on a show that was pretty highly rated. Recommendation for the arenas is rather strange - AI had me wanting to book a 10k seater for a 3k crowd. Which I would have allegedly made 84k from the show. - Adding more to review: Matchmaking and Match Type problems - 5 matches only? But the bigger issue is there is no distinct difference in matches - prestige or adding things such as objects, chairs, etc. I hope this is updated in the future. Its amazing, because the game has very descriptive booking but the matches are completely missing. - This goes along with the last added part - no cage match, no way to book one. Also no way to buck a Trios match despite offering trios title in the menu for titles. - Auto-Booking - Horrible, I just clicked the button and Main event has 1 person in it. AI could not even complete the booking despite having 34 members to the roster. I hope more updates on the game come in the future. Right now, I cant recommend people to just buy it because they will complain about some the details. I hope fixes happen in the future. Game has potential to be better than TEW and that online grifter game Wrestling Promoter that's a web game. Game looks to be better shape than before.
Ainda não consegui pegar para jogar. Mas mostra muito potencial e os desenvolvedores têm muito cuidado com o jogo.
