Before I Forget

touching story and pretty sad game storywise but still very powerful. this game shows it doesnt need to be stretched out to have a powerful story/message.

O tema da memória é particularmente importante para mim e para este jogo também. Quem leu ao menos a descrição do jogo antes de comprá-lo sabe de antemão que a protagonista tem demência. O que o jogo proporciona são reminiscências reconstruídas a partir dos objetos na casa. Talvez a trilha sonora seja o que há de melhor. É o que gera tantas boas avaliações por aqui, a meu ver. O enredo, infelizmente, deixa a desejar. O jogo tem o mérito de criar algum tipo de compaixão no jogador, mas fica muito longe de apresentar alguma reviravolta ou acontecimento inesperado. A memória desbloqueada no fim pretende ser impactante, mas soa clichê. Nada me surpreendeu aqui e talvez nem seja justo esperar isso de um jogo de uma hora. Se estiver na promoção e você gostar de walking simulators curtos, pode valer a pena. Para uma história que envolve memória (mas não demência), recomendo o livro Um Amor de Swann, de Marcel Proust. É parte de um livro maior chamado Em Busca do Tempo Perdido (À la recherche du temps perdu). Certamente tomará mais de uma hora para lê-lo, mas o enredo - que relaciona amor, ciúme e memória - vale o tempo. Nossa trajetória é o que define quem somos. A memória de si é o que nos faz entender nosso lugar dentro do mundo. Somos frutos de escolhas próprias e alheias realizadas ao longo da vida. Este tema é um canhão e merece mais do que Before I Forget.

apesar d eu ter tido alguns problemas com a jogabilidade (terrível o negócio d, se vc esbarrar 1x nos comentários dos devs, eles ficam tocando PRA SEMPRE), a história é bem envolvente e é legal ver a protagonista aos poucos entendendo a situação; achei o preço meio salgado pro resultado em si, mas achei ok considerando q comprei na promoção

It's quite a lovely short game that expresses the true meaning of he story throughout and the way it does that is vey artistly done. Just seeing the world captured so colourless and with each object it brings forth the hues of colourful memories. I'm glad I played this game. :)

技术力太差导致演出效果不行。部分奇怪的设计让步行模拟这个简单的过分的类型玩起来也难受。手柄适配性有问题。

Well, that was quite the experience. The feeling of initial confusion as we wander an unfamiliar location eventually intersects the narrative, and we -- the player -- want nothing more than to help our character remember what we've learned. This is powerful and polished (aside from a few brief grammatical slips). Walking Sim adventurers should definitely give this a shot.

J'ai pris énormément de plaisir à joué à ce jeu qui est vraiment bien écris et bien immersif. On peux ressentir la détresse du personnage et la confusion au fur et à mesure du temps.

The perspective of this game captures the confusion, curiosity, loss and overall complex range of emotions. Bringing to life what it may feel like to have this type of diagnosis. Going into the game I was not aware of the main character's plot. That made it even more heart wrenching. The simple point and click navigation makes it easy for all skill levels to enjoy. The music adds to each moment relived with the emotions it evokes. The simplistic art style makes it calming. As things come into the water color showing the context and clarity in each moment. The unraveling of memories through music, photos, letters and various items as though a portal into time was really well done. This game evoked the complex emotions, putting the player in the shoes of someone in this situation.

The game is garbage, the story is cheesy and rushed af.
