Beekeeper

While it's still in Early Access, Beekeeper definitely has potential. Keep in mind that some bugs are still present. It will probably change in the near future though. In the end however, it's interesting and overall enjoyable game with bees and your wits as main workforce.

This game is really stunning. I’m impressed how interesting making and selling honey can be. You plan to play just a few minutes and then you spend hours wondering which flowers plant in your garden or how many bees you need to earn more money. You feel that prickle of excitement when you sign your first deal and sell some jars of honey! I really love that game. Graphic, music, details, everything is so amazing! Beekeeper is the game for everyone. For experienced gamers and for beginners, no matter how old you are. It is one of that games where you use your own intuition to develop and successfully compete with other beekeepers. I can’t believe how good it is! Just fix some bugs because this game has really big potential.

To bardzo przyjemna strategia ekonomiczna, który stawia nie na realizm, nie na tysiące różnych statystyk, czy skomplikowanych mechanizmów, a na relaks. Po prostu siadasz i delektujesz się tym pixel-artowym światem, który wygląda prześlicznie. Animacje oraz muzyka są tu głównym atutem przemawiającym za artyzm, jednakże są także ich największą piętą achillesową. Muzyka choć przyjemna sprawia wrażenie, jakby to były 2-3 bardzo podobne do siebie utwory zapętlone, a animacja zwierząt(patrzę na was króliczki) mogłaby być bardziej dopracowana. Ogólnie występuję parę baboli technicznych, ale nie są one na tyle poważne, żeby przeszkodziły w grze. Innym mankamentem z kolei jest mała zawartość. W sklepie jest niewiele przedmiotów do kupienia, wydawnictwa, dzięki którym możemy dystrybuować miód wydają się zlepkiem kilku losowych zmiennych, a i o tej muzyce już wspominałem. Oczywiście nie można zapominać, że gra jest we wczesnym dostępie, a to oznacza, że wciąż się będzie rozwijać i będzie wprowadzana nowa zawartość. TL;DR Jak na betę, "Beekeeper" to gra sprawiająca niemałą frajdę. Nie mogę się doczekać, jak będzie wyglądać dalszy rozwój tej produkcji!

The premise of the game is original and interesting, and the art is beeutiful. In its current state, however, the controls are very awkward, forcing the player to use predefined keys AND the mouse in a very counterintuitive fashion. Several times I found myself stubbornly clicking on the things the game told me to only to find out I was supposed to right-click instead of left-click, with no info given about that. I bought the game on sale, but a part of me still wanted to refund it. Another part wanted not to, but instead see how it will develop and support the creators. It's a great premise, but definitely needs some work. At it's current state I would not say it's worth the modest price tag it has, but it's worth a try if on a sale. I will adjust this review if necessary as the game gets more updates.

The slowest game I've ever played. Not even in a "it takes a long time to get going" sense or "there's not a lot to do" sense. The controls are simply mushy and unresponsive and everything seems to happen like, well, you're wading knee-deep in honey. For a game that tries to emphasize the cut-throat nature of the business, every interaction is just. So. Slow!

It is a very imaginative game. However, I have to say that after a few hours of play it is no longer fun. It is still in beta, but the game lacks a little more to do.

A very nice and original concept of a strategic-economy game. Good-looking unique graphics and music that fits the idyllic atmosphere of this cute little product. There are some minor bugs but the developers are working very hard and constantly improving the game. I hope Beekeeper will make a name for itself in the nearest future.
