For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.

About
Palo Pori is a beautiful and peaceful village of artisans and tastemakers. Beyond the village’s protective wall, darkness has begun to stir. Ravenous monsters have claimed the land and threaten to sink their teeth into this final morsel of hope and happiness.
Play as Panko, a young, talented chef, helping to run the local eatery. When Panko’s teacher goes missing, a mysterious visitor arrives with warnings of the dangers beyond the wall. It's up to Panko to step up and take over the restaurant and tend to the ingredients and patrons. But that’s not all, Panko also finds himself serving the Caretakers, brave adventurers, sent to save the world. In this adventure, preserving peace starts in the kitchen!

In Palo Pori, fresh is best! Gather ingredients and resources, care for animals and grow your own fruit and veg to build up your very own cozy town to table restaurant. Forage for wild herbs and unlock new seeds to grow to expand your meals.

Chop, flip, and sizzle your way through mouthwatering mini-games as you whip up delightful dishes for the townsfolk. Good food is always better with company, so work hard to improve your cooking and experiment with ingredients, to keep your patrons happy.
Tailor your restaurant to the tastes of your community, develop new meals, progress your know how through a skill tree and adjust the decor to increase your restaurant’s appeal.

You’ll also need to feed the hungry Caretakers; these brave denizens of the land will venture out into the wilds to fight the ravenous monsters threatening the peace of Palo Pori. Each Caretaker hails from their own flavour region, affecting their own tastes and preferences: some like it bitter, some like it sweet and some are just looking to fulfil their craving of the day! Craft thoughtful meals and balance the flavour profiles to boost their spirits, sharpen their skills, and unlock new abilities. Because let’s face it… Who can save the world on an empty stomach?

Now it’s time to put your meal to the test! This is where taste meets tactics. The dishes you serve will build your Caretaker’s deck – each ingredient unlocking a card. And once they’ve eaten, they’ll venture into the wilds to fight the monsters. Upon their return, they’ll recount their journey and play out their battles through a charming puppet theatre sequence. They might even bring you back some MONSTEROUS ingredients from their ventures. Fight the monsters in turn-based deck building combat, inspired by traditional trick-taking card games. Outplay the monsters, by matching their flavour magic or neutralising it with a balancing card. Add an enhancing card to power up your moves! Your magic can turn the tables!
Utilize the unique effects of your ingredients to put your enemies to sleep, blow away their cards, and more, but watch out, you’re not the only one with special abilities. If you’re not paying attention, you might get burned.
In this food-based fantasy adventure, it’s time to give peas a chance! - Are you ready to get cooking?
Unlock the magic in food.

checks all the boxes for what I'm looking for in a game, wonderfully blends cozy gameplay and strategy with stunning visuals throughout! could not get enough of this game <33
I haven't finished the game just yet but I had to leave a review This game is absolutely a treat! The story is light, all the characters (expect Kanlan) are loveable and so uniquely designs The Artstyle and the creature designs are just amazing! Every new one I ran into I fell in love with right away Everything in this game screams creativity and it is so fun to experience The story is light and fun to go through as well and all the food puns are great! I can only recommend this 10/10 game to everyone!
the writing is pretty weak, with lots of good ideas but mediocre execution, and generally just a lot of missed potential (this applies to both the characters and the story). but the vibes outside of that are really nice and cute and the gameplay loop is fairly satisfying (especially working through the upgrade trees, which surprisingly didnt turn out to be all that grindy). the creature designs are really fun and the mixed artstyles work super well. the battle system is nothing special past its gimmick but the game isnt long enough for that to become a major issue. it would also be nice if the game let you automate more things by the late game, all the minigames and stuff got pretty boring by that point. that last bit is probably my biggest criticism aside from the writing.
Charming simple deck builder with ADORABLE combat animation, but lacking depth for older or more "hardcore" players. Great for kids or casual play. 8/10 It's a great game. *Have not finished the game 100%* Pros: Cute theme and visuals especially in combat. Simple light story. Engaging mini games for cooking and fun deck building system. Gameplay loop is fun. Mood is light adventure. Cons: Card combat system is too simple and just a stat check vs enemies. Collecting ingredients all over the map daily is tedious and repetitive. Characters really could benefit from VO.
Beastro is, overall, a short but fun game. Generally lasting somewhere between 8 to 24 hours (depending on how many sidequests you're doing, whether you're trying to 100%, and how good you are at deckbuilders), but having thought and love put into every detail, it is an enjoyable experience. The style is lovely, cooking and gathering are satisfying to do, and the combat is simple but unique. People who are experienced with deckbuilders may find the combat easy, but I find that the unique puppet visuals and combat method make it satisfying nonetheless. I should mention for everyone's sake that you cannot continue a save file after defeating the final boss. Similarly to some Zelda titles, once you win against the final boss, you can't play the game on that file anymore. I haven't reached this point yet myself, but I have seen other reviews that report this, and wanted to make sure I warned of this too. Back to the positives now. The characters are fleshed out, and the designs are fitting and fluid. Nothing feels forced, and the world feels alive. I like the story and the messages present throughout it. It is a game that makes you think about the importance of both caution and open-mindedness, as well as the topic of how and when one must atone for misdeeds. It's well made and makes you think about these nuanced topics that don't have one clear answer (among other topics, of course). I would 100% recommend this game to all those who love cozy titles, as it is ~10 hours of relaxing, cozy bliss. In short: Pros: - Aesthetically pleasing and soft style, easy on the eyes and yet filled with detail - Satisfying cooking, gathering, and fighting minigames/mechanics - Good story that runs deeper than anticipated and has a lot of substance - Love and thought put into the detail in every second - Achievements and sidequests that can give you a bit more playtime should you choose to complete them - No rush, time passes only when you decide it should (for example, by opening the restaurant or going to bed) - Little to no mandatory filler - Unique card battle method Cons: - Quite short, especially for a cozy game - Battles can be quite easy for experienced deckbuilders - Gaining money or resources can feel repetitive at times - Map layouts are not randomized, so going through previous areas can get old quickly
I enjoyed this game, it is nice introduction into this genre of game, i liked the story, the main casts and the village there are few things which i hope creators will see Kalan (the bitter one) ability is OP - allowing nearly infinite redraw until needed combination, so it is a bit cheesy having only Kalan during last episode is a bit.. weird, i would think we could pick anyone we enjoyed last zone was a bit unenjoyable - it was directly boss, would think there would be big gauntlet before that with more lore atleast some stuff didnt pop up nearly at all - for example Hoop fish or that lasture thingie - never used them, because there were way better stuff to use stackshrooms - i met poison ability only like three times through the whole game burning - changing of sweet ingredients to more powerful - it is interesting ability, but it never popped up - i think it is supposed to help with last fight, but kalan infinite redraw just solved that
还不错,希望能加个打通关后继续经营的模式,理由就是大伙想吃饭就行了。
Highly recommend. + Simple + Cozy + Short + Well written + Adorable - Some of the minigames can be a little stressful - Perhaps too short, and no NG+
