For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. About
Palo Pori is a beautiful and peaceful village of artisans and tastemakers. Beyond the village’s protective wall, darkness has begun to stir. Ravenous monsters have claimed the land and threaten to sink their teeth into this final morsel of hope and happiness.
Play as Panko, a young, talented chef, helping to run the local eatery. When Panko’s teacher goes missing, a mysterious visitor arrives with warnings of the dangers beyond the wall. It's up to Panko to step up and take over the restaurant and tend to the ingredients and patrons. But that’s not all, Panko also finds himself serving the Caretakers, brave adventurers, sent to save the world. In this adventure, preserving peace starts in the kitchen!

In Palo Pori, fresh is best! Gather ingredients and resources, care for animals and grow your own fruit and veg to build up your very own cozy town to table restaurant. Forage for wild herbs and unlock new seeds to grow to expand your meals.

Chop, flip, and sizzle your way through mouthwatering mini-games as you whip up delightful dishes for the townsfolk. Good food is always better with company, so work hard to improve your cooking and experiment with ingredients, to keep your patrons happy.
Tailor your restaurant to the tastes of your community, develop new meals, progress your know how through a skill tree and adjust the decor to increase your restaurant’s appeal.

You’ll also need to feed the hungry Caretakers; these brave denizens of the land will venture out into the wilds to fight the ravenous monsters threatening the peace of Palo Pori. Each Caretaker hails from their own flavour region, affecting their own tastes and preferences: some like it bitter, some like it sweet and some are just looking to fulfil their craving of the day! Craft thoughtful meals and balance the flavour profiles to boost their spirits, sharpen their skills, and unlock new abilities. Because let’s face it… Who can save the world on an empty stomach?

Now it’s time to put your meal to the test! This is where taste meets tactics. The dishes you serve will build your Caretaker’s deck – each ingredient unlocking a card. And once they’ve eaten, they’ll venture into the wilds to fight the monsters. Upon their return, they’ll recount their journey and play out their battles through a charming puppet theatre sequence. They might even bring you back some MONSTEROUS ingredients from their ventures. Fight the monsters in turn-based deck building combat, inspired by traditional trick-taking card games. Outplay the monsters, by matching their flavour magic or neutralising it with a balancing card. Add an enhancing card to power up your moves! Your magic can turn the tables!
Utilize the unique effects of your ingredients to put your enemies to sleep, blow away their cards, and more, but watch out, you’re not the only one with special abilities. If you’re not paying attention, you might get burned.
In this food-based fantasy adventure, it’s time to give peas a chance! - Are you ready to get cooking?
Unlock the magic in food.

A charming and cozy game despite it's flaws. I do recommend it to anyone who has culinary interest and is looking for a chill time. Good: - A charming game with a cute art style - Fairly chill general gameplay to help you relax - Unique deck builder mechanics, which, while not mechanically the strongest have a cohesive theme and are fairly fun for the short play time. - Endearing character designs - The paper puppet show used for the deck-builder section is unique and works well. Bad: - The chores and minigames pile up and become repetitive. While you do gain some helpers later to take the edge off they come in at the last minute so you don't really get to utilize them. Rebuilding your deck every day can be a particular hassle and I wish you could have saved serving layouts for future runs. Fishing was also a bit of a pain point given the limited bait and needing many of various types of fish for certain deck builds. - Characters sometimes force your hand on who to bring on runs, and their abilities don't create good synergies unless they are winning at the rock-paper-scissors-esque spice wheel. It would have been nice to see their passives give them unique gameplay styles instead. - The end of the game feels a bit.. chopped off, pacing wise. I was also able to accidentally skip large portions of dialogue and buildup, because my exploration path led me to discover a new character, then on the next run, immedietely defeat a hard boss and progress their main story.

6/10 I love the cardboard design and the "fight with cards" game, but unfortunately, it's just a small portion of the game. The bigger part is consisting of running around in the town collecting ingredients, doing fishing minigame, etc. It has zero challange (so much that I actually watched the World Cup while I was playing), and I got bored with it really fast. I also love cooking games in general, but it's sooo minimal here, it's essentially a bunch of minigames, which also doesn't give you any challange - fun for the first time, but boring by the third one. I'd have loved if the game was focusing more on the actual cooking/fighting, rather than bloating things with uninteresting chores. In the end, I liked my time playing with this game, but get bored fast and one day I realized I wasn't launching this game for a month.
A delightful experience that deserved to be a little bigger! I had a really good time with Beastro. Its art style is gorgeous, the characters are charming, the creature designs are memorable, and the whole puppet theatre presentation gives the game a unique personality. At first, I honestly wasn't convinced by the combat. Building meals around each Caretaker's preferences while also trying to build a deck that can answer every enemy flavor felt frustrating, and the RNG didn't always help. However, once I fully understood the mechanics, I actually started enjoying it a lot. The problem is... that happened a bit too late. Beastro has a surprisingly steep learning curve for a game that can be finished in around 14 hours. By the time everything finally clicks, the credits are almost around the corner. A few mechanics are also introduced very late, leaving little time to actually enjoy them before the adventure is over... That's probably my biggest criticism: I simply wanted more. One or two additional regions would have gone a long way and would have given the progression much better pacing. Despite that, I genuinely had a great time. The restaurant management is fun, experimenting with recipes is satisfying, exploring the world is rewarding, and the presentation constantly puts a smile on your face. If the developers ever expand Beastro with additional content, I'll happily come back!
One of my favorite games of this year. Love deckbuilding games in general, but this combines a whole bunch of disparate gameplay mechanics in a compelling cozy environment. Cute in the best way, hiding surprising depth as the story unfolds. A must-play.
Fun indie deck builder with heart and strategy. Not too long, not too short
Its a really unique and fun cooking game. Has a cool deck aspect to it, a cool artsyle, and has interesting characters. Its definitely worth the buy and I really hope down the road there is more content to come.
Absolutely cutest experience that i have. Why they make they spirit faces so dissapointed. Like, i get it we kill them, but dont make it hard 😢
I loved it. The story was lovely. The mix of elements from cooking, to rogue-like to deckbuilder mixed well.
I'm amazed more people aren't playing this game. I have only played it casually for a couple of months off and on and only 15% of players have my achievements? It seems a little silly at first- you're an anthro-Fox chef who runs a restaurant by day, and feeds "caretakers" who do battle in the wilds at night. You grow ingredients in your garden, you go fishing, etc, but the real magic is in building meals (decks) for the caretakers who venture out. You have to balance flavors on the plate in order to build decks around 6 different tastes- spicy, sour, sweet, salty, umami and bitter. The battle system is completely unique. You can either beat the same flavor of card to win the trick, or you can offset their flavor with a different one to cut their damage in half. It was easy to learn but hard to master. Pretty soon you'll find yourself on your third hour straight of creating food plate decks before you realize you forgot to cook your own, real-life dinner, and that, to me, pretty much says it all. If Slay the Spire had a private chef before every floor, this would be that game. To all my fellow foodie gamers, this was made for us. Don't sleep on it. It grows on you.
价格中规中矩,美术上乘,融合了多种玩法的缝合怪,但是缝得不是很好,可玩性差点意思。总体上是不错的游戏
