"Beach Gas Gas" ist ein Third-Person Casual Fahr Spiel. Wir fahren möglichst schnell auf einer endlosen schnurgeraden vierspurigen Straße und sollten Kollisionen vermeiden. Und das war es auch schon, das ganze Spielkonzept. Es gibt zwei Spielmodi, einen mit und einen ohne Gegenverkehr. Auf der Straße liegen manchmal noch aufsammelbare Dollarzeichen. Mit erfahrenem Geld können wir uns andere Fahrzeuge kaufen. Oder besser: könnten wir. Denn um das günstigste Fahrzeug zu kaufen, müßten wir Echtzeit grob eine Stunde geradeaus fahren. Und das ist nach spätestens fünf Minuten unfaßbar langweilig. Ein Game mit diesem Spielkonzept hat man früher auf dem C64 selbst programmiert. Als Fingerübung. Nicht, um es zu veröffentlichen, denn man wußte, daß das viel zu wenig und nur peinlich wäre. Noch dazu ist das Spiel grottig programmiert. Die häßliche Grafik flackert, sammelbare Objekte ploppen plötzlich auf oder sind auf einmal weg. Das Fahrverhalten funktioniert zwar grundsätzlich, bleibt aber sehr rudimentär. Der Sound ist nur auf niedrigem Niveau. Die inzwischen aufgerufenen lächerlichen Preise der Spielchen des Entwicklers deuten noch mehr darauf hin, daß der Entwickler wenig mit Seriosität zu tun hat.
