Such a smooth and relaxing one button experience! I already played the demo version some months ago. I think im at level 25 around now and I really like the difficulty progression. Also the different level approaches (steps/time/completionist) are great for replayability and keep the grind up. I would love to see some Speed Runs :-)
Mad addictive. Great game. Would.
Great game !!!
What can i say but: I love this game. I'm usually not into dexterity games, but this one just makes me come back for more. You always know how to do it just a little faster, cleaner or smarter. Plus I love the Bauhaus style. The learning curve is crazy. It shows you a new mechanic, eases you into it, and then you're off to find out the hard way. The game really trusts you to be smart, and we both know you are.
Who knew abstract art could be so much fun? ...Me! I love abstract art! c: Anyway, Bauhaus Bonk is a one button game about controlling a constantly-spinning line by pressing a button to swap its pivot point, and your goal is to get to the exit of each level without bonking into anything. Sounds easy, but this game actually gets pretty tricky with some of its later levels, especially while attempting to gather all the collectables in each level! There's also various items to keep in mind, from colored eyes to change the color of the background (thus letting you move through walls of that color) to the dots that speed up or slow down your line, and even the ability to phase through walls. These, combined with levels that test your timing, precision, routing, etc. makes for a pretty engaging game! Other than occasionally bonking into walls, you'll also be experiencing the "Bauhaus" part of Bauhaus Bonk with its visuals! Pretty sleek and abstract UI and levels, with the latter being shown off in a zoomed out view and within an art frame until you make your first move and start the level. Charming stuffs! The swing bop music is a nice fit too (and I've got one of the songs from the game stuck in my head as I write this review (specifically "Mr. Bonk"), aaaaaaaa)! Lastly, I wanna mention that it's cool that there's multiple leaderboards for every level! You can try to get to the end as fast as possible and/or factor in fewest amount of button presses taken and collecting all the collectables! Bauhaus Bonk's a simple, tricky, and fun game! I imagine that it'll be a neat title for peeps that enjoy speedrunning, or perhaps it may turn you into a speedrunner yourself as you aim for better ranks/leaderboard positions. Perhaps you're a Kuru Kuru Kururin/Roundabout/Hyphen fan and wanna get in on some more stick-spinning action (even if the gameplay's different here). Or maybe you wanna see art come to life and traverse around it! Either way, this game's worth checking out!
As simple as it is beautiful. Bauhaus Bonk is perfect for so many different moods. If you want to relax, just bonk for fun or beat the high scores of your fellow bonkers, the game got you covered. It's definitely the kind of game you'll dig out from time to time, even if you already know everything by heart. Definitely a recommendation! Ahhh, and the art style <3
I'm in love with this game. It's super addictive, if you're into challenges. There are multiple ways/strategies to finish each level and perhaps become first in the leaderboard. You can e. g. decide to skip power-ups, which makes some levels a lot more difficult to finish. I enjoy having this freedom of choosing my own way in games and this one definitely offers that! So if you're into these kind of things too, Bauhaus Bonk will definitely be worth more than just a try to you! Oohh and btw; don't get me started about the music... The soundtracks are soo fitting and make it even more fun to play the game. ((I would love to get a setting option tho in which one could choose what song is playing next)) 10/10 <3
-English- Bauhaus Bonk is a great game! The basic mechanics are super simple. The entire control system consists of just one button and yet it's a lot of fun! :D But even though it's ‘simple’, don't let that fool you. It's easy to learn and damn hard to master! Getting the rhythm and precision perfect is damn hard, but getting better and climbing up the leaderboard is a hell of a lot of fun. But be careful: one major criticism is the music! That jazzy sound stays in your ears for hours or even days. xD -Deutsch- Bauhaus Bonk ist ein super Spiel!
Super fun, amazing soundtrack, levels are not too hard, but can be a fun challenge to try and get the fastest score. 10/10
Really neat little one-button game with a charming soundtrack, cool Bauhaus artworks and challenging levels! The scoreboard at the end of each stage will destroy your ego 10/10
