Good game by a Good Solo Dev. It's got tons of systems/content from RPG to all out top down mecha WAR. it does need more polishing in some areas, but the Dev has stated, he knows this and will keep working on it and he does listen to feedback.
the good: good artwork even if it's obviously AI-assisted, the core gameplay of mech fights is decent stupid fun, sometimes the lack of explanation can be interesting, like solving a puzzle the bad: random elements and elements that take away player control/agency that feel arbitrary and frustrating. the parts of the game that describe points and give you stuff that later seem to have no purpose are frustrating. the section where nations gain points feels arbitrary since you have so much less control than the dice rolls the AI does over who wins/loses. codex items and collectibles are frustrating and completely random to collect and take away from the more fun main gameplay loop. way too much grinding for stuff; this game would be fine if one codex spent upgrading gave you a new mech. mechs that don't let you change loadouts all suck in comparison to mechs that let you change loadouts, and also make the money you spent buying weapons a waste. the game has too many menus that are buried in other menus, and way too little control over the smut, which feels like waiting for random events to occur that can lead to a scene.
Currently still very buggy. 1. health bags don't land within map most of the time. 2. extra unit (F key in battle) cool down doesn't work. 3. confirmation menu disappears in secret base, either after stage show is built or legendary construction is unlocked 4. character dialogues appear to not work correctly, for example, after reaching 100 relationship with Rea, her dialogue automatically shows whenever the player skips the day in their dormitory. 5. yellow boxes don't drop any collectables most of the time, even though these boxes are very rare.

Absolutely worth the price! This is the only game from the last couple years that I bought as soon as I saw it released. There is a surprising amount of content to this seemingly simple game. You can play it like a top down mech shooter, manage a team of mercs, fight in an arena, or solo supply runs. All of these provide decent funds and upgrade components that let you continue to play how you want. These all play differently and none of them feels half assed. The romance is there if you pursue it, but it's not forced on you if you don't want it. But you will because the minigames involved are fun. It also has a demo if you aren't sure if it's for you.
