Love the game, but they killed the online. Played the hell out of it on console.
this and the vietnam expansion were the best battlefields
Best BF since BF2 and BC1 on console.
Is the game buggy? Yes, very half the time you can't see anything due to weird ass bloom effect? absolutely other half, the enemies disappear and re-appear ? sure do all enemies only use RPG for a reason? they have every right to. has the game aged like milk? what doesn't. What matters is that the sergeant called the pilot " a retarded hippie". Recommended
Devuelvan Bad Company 2 a Steam pue
Hey kiddo, Handsome Jack here... and I just played Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and okay, THIS is more like it. I mean, finally, a Battlefield game where the developers remembered that war is supposed to involve explosions, destruction, and four idiots who probably shouldn't be trusted with military equipment. You've got a squad of absolute lunatics running around, blowing up buildings, stealing vehicles, shooting Russians, and making jokes while the entire world falls apart around them. Honestly, it's beautiful. The destruction is fantastic too. You see a building? You can probably destroy it. See a wall? Gone. See a house full of enemies? Congratulations, kiddo, you now have a house full of rubble and several fewer enemies. That's what I want from Battlefield. I don't want to tactically maneuver around a building. I want to remove the building from the tactical equation. And the campaign is actually fun. The characters have personality, the dialogue is entertaining, and the whole thing feels like you're on a ridiculous military road trip with four guys who should probably be supervised by an adult. Haggard is insane, Sweetwater is trying to keep everyone alive, Sarge is permanently one bad day away from murdering the entire squad, and Preston Marlowe is just standing there wondering how he ended up with these people. Then there's the multiplayer, which is where this game really shines. Tanks rolling through buildings, helicopters crashing into trees, snipers hiding in bushes, and some guy screaming because you stole his vehicle. It's chaos, it's beautiful, and it's exactly what Battlefield should be. Is it perfect? No. It's old, some mechanics show their age, and the multiplayer can occasionally remind you that you're playing a game from another era. But honestly, I'd rather play an imperfect game with personality than a technically impressive game that feels like it was assembled by a committee. 9/10, kiddo. Fantastic campaign, incredible destruction, memorable characters, and enough explosions to make me forget that I'm technically supposed to be reviewing this thing. I'd give it a 10, but apparently they didn't include a mode where I get to personally command the entire army. Terrible oversight.
