IMO best Battlefield ever made , Still holds to date & will stay this way for many years to come
The game itself looks really good, the graphics, sound, and effects are honestly excellent, and I have no complaints there. However, when it comes to gameplay systems, physics, AI, and overall logic, it feels like those parts were either barely worked on or completely ignored. My first and biggest issue is with friendly NPCs. They are basically useless, most of the time they just run from cover to cover and rarely actually shoot enemies or help in any meaningful way. In almost every mission I die at least once because an enemy comes up directly behind me while my teammates are standing just a few meters away and don’t even notice him. Speaking of enemies, they feel like they have aimbot. They can hit you with the worst weapons from insane distances, and the moment you peek out of cover, you instantly get hit multiple times the red indicator showing where shots are coming from is often inaccurate, so I don’t even know where I’m being shot from. On top of that, enemies completely ignore my teammates they literally run past them like they don’t exist and focus only on me, which feels very unnatural. Another big issue is that the game often doesn’t explain what you’re supposed to do in missions. I’ve had multiple situations where I had to open the menu or even watch YouTube guides just to figure out what the game wanted from me. Sometimes I would wander around for 10–15 minutes not knowing what the next objective is. The story also doesn’t make much sense. The beginning is fine normal building combat and military action. But later things become completely unrealistic. We climb to the top of a collapsing skyscraper, fall off it, and somehow everyone survives. Then we fall into water with a car, and a character’s leg gets “magically” stuck in a way that makes no sense, and there is apparently no way to free it. After that, some random woman suddenly joins our squad like a superhero, without any real explanation. Not long after, she betrays us. In real life, it’s hard to imagine someone being randomly added to a military unit like that without proper background checks or reasoning. Later, we end up in prison, where a completely random inmate decides to escape at the exact moment we arrive. Of course, we end up taking down a massive number of guards and escape easily. It feels more like an action movie than a military story. I still haven’t finished the campaign because it honestly became frustrating. I’m currently stuck on a part mainly because the game once again didn’t clearly explain what to do, and my teammates are, as usual, completely useless. I’m even playing on Easy difficulty, so I can’t imagine how it feels on harder modes :/
The best Battlefield game for ever
