BRING IT BACK
Great game, I miss it.
It's a shame that this game isn't accesible now. I remember playing it back when it came out, my younger self saw a birdman with a rocket launcher + "by the creators of Borderlands 2", what could go wrong, right? The game was good. But the release date was its biggest mistake (some say) The game was divided in 2 sides, the story mode and the online matches (team based), sadly, despite not having online support, the story mode cannot be played. Game direction: Quite lovely it was a movement focused, shooter MOBA (like the upcoming Deadlock) The story mode was quite avarage and predictable. Art Direction, good enough: The style was quite of low poly scenario with vibrant effects. Character design: competent enough. Gameplay wise there was a plethora of different characters for each playstyle and artistically had really cool design with some others being a little shallow or forgettable. Soundtrack: Fitting but not memorable. I just remember the intro trailer with that great 2D animation. If you're interested in the game. I believe there is a project called "Battleborn Reborn Project" that works in mainting the game "alive", I'm not sure how is it going but there is an account on Twitter/X, they also have a Discord server. Moreover, there's a initiative called "Stop Killing Games" that is working for consummers' rights in the European Parliment, asking to materialize some kind of law that, in some degree, will make game producers give an option for games to be played after their online period ends, like being able to play private matches. At the end, this is a game that many bought and cannot access to any of the content it has, it's like buying a book and not having the rights to read it.

The game was actually really good and nothing like Overwatch, but for whatever reason it was heavily compared to it and OW happened to be a decent game as well with more pull due to being Blizzard. It absolutely deserves a comeback, the release date is what killed this game, not the gameplay.
I am not a robot, I! Am a spider!
I bought this game back in 2016 and now it doesn't work. When I look at the store page it's no longer available on the Steam store. Looks like a huge load of crap.
I miss you.
Very fun, energetic. I love coming back to this game. Played it endlessly on Xbox, now I have it on Steam
EVERYONE IF YOU LOVED BATTLEBORN GO PLAY DEADLOCK!! ITS THE SAME THING
They said "Stop Killing Games" but this didn't simply die, it got nuked.
