cant hit dingers like i used to i had a home copy of this and i do not remember it being this difficult. i dont know, but my guess is i have not gotten worse but the game has gotten more difficult, with time to reflect on itself. at this point i am not even having fun, just in a personal feud with a computer program that is ticking me off: -base running is a nightmare. i am pretty sure the computer player keeps hacking my gamepad -good luck in the outfield! you dont get'ta see NADA as the camera laughs, but better believe the cpu is gonna catch everything in the outfield. their eyes are programed to see what the player dont. UNFAIR. +great game, cool sounds and pxl grfx -i wish there was a batting practice mode +/-the neo geo pocket version sucks +no online, so children are safe from baseball weirdos

- 현재 스팀에서 즐길 수 있는 몇 안 되는 90년대 야구게임이자, 90년대 대한민국 오락실에서 볼 수 있었던 야구게임 중엔 현재 스팀에 올라와 있는 유일한 게임이 아닐까 싶습니다. - 그 당시의 수많은 야구게임들이 회사의 부도와 저작권 꼬임/라이센스 상실/기타 이유 등으로 대부분 재판매할 엄두를 못 내는 가운데, 아직까지 살아있으면서 구작 판매에도 진심인 SNK가 IP를 갖고 있고/실존 구단, 실존 선수 데이터를 전혀 사용하지 않아서 애초에 라이센스가 필요없는 게임인데다/아케이드 야구게임으로서 괜찮은 게임성(물론 추억보정 포함. 이걸 뭔 깡으로 이 가격에 올렸냐고 생각하시는 분도 있으실 듯)과 확실한 개성을 가진 게임이기에 지금까지 살아남아 스팀에 올라와 있는 것이라 생각합니다. - 물론 요즘 시대에 정가 8500원 다 내고 구입할 급의 게임은 아니라고 생각하지만요... - 게임 자체는 좋든 나쁘든 옛날 그대로로, 유일한 싱글 플레이 모드가 스킵도 없이 야구 시합을 계속해서(한두판으로 안 끝나고 꽤 깁니다) 벌여나가야 하는 리그전이 전부라 오락실에서도 이 게임의 엔딩을 보는 사람을 보지 못했습니다만, SNK가 이 게임을 스팀으로 내면서 세이브/로드/중간저장같은 걸로 이걸 보완하지 않은 결과 한번 게임을 껐다 키면 리그전을 이어할 수 있는 방법이 아예 없어서, 이 게임을 진지하게 잡아보려는 사람의 의욕을 분쇄기에 갈아버리는 매우 치명적인 단점이 되어 있습니다. 진입문턱이 높지 않은 이 게임 도전과제를 올클한 사람이 2% 정도밖에 안 되는 것만 봐도... - 멀티 플레이 모드도 바로 옆에 있는 사람과 한 컴퓨터에서 1:1 대전하는 게 전부고 온라인을 통해 대전하는 루트를 열어주지 않은 게 아쉽습니다. - 옛날 오락실용 게임을 별다른 추가요소도 없이 스팀으로 내면서 생겨난 치명적인 문제가 있지만, 게임 자체는 호감입니다. 비현실적인 면이 가득하지만 마지막 선은 또 넘지 않는 점도 그렇고, 극단적으로 확고한 기믹을 가진 각각의 팀들도 그렇고, 선수들 이름이 요상하긴 하지만 그래도 그 시절에 한국 대표팀을 넣어줬던 점도 마음에 들고. 무엇보다 깊이 생각하기를 요구하지 않고 복잡하지도 않은, 데드볼 참교육같이 단순하면서도 과장된 아케이드성이 좋습니다. 게임 내적인 이유로 엔딩도 도전과제 올클도 포기했지만 엄지척을 주는 이유입니다.

This is a game meant for nostalgia. Since this game was not a part of my childhood, Its not for me.

If you're expecting an immersive MLB experience that mimics the smell of freshly mowed grass, the satisfying crack of the bat, and the nuanced strategies of a real game, then buddy, you've come to the wrong virtual stadium. This game is like if baseball decided to chug five energy drinks and then went to a comedy club. It's faster than a cheetah on rollerblades and filled with hilariously exaggerated baseball elements that would make any real-world player choke on their sunflower seeds. Ever dreamed of having a power bat that hits so hard it probably breaks the laws of physics? You'll find it here! And speaking of breaking things, let's talk about the AI. For reasons known only to the gaming gods, the computer seems to have a vendetta against your virtual shinbones. I've seen more 'hit by a pitch' moments in one game than I've seen in my entire real-life baseball-watching career. No kidding! At this rate, I'm starting to think the ball is magnetically attracted to players. And if you're thinking of getting back at that pitcher for his wild throws, don't worry – for some mysterious reason, brawling with the pitcher comes with zero consequences. Maybe they're all just really good pals off the field? So if you're craving a baseball experience that's as zany as a clown juggling flaming baseball bats, BASEBALL STARS 2 has got your back. But if you're looking for that realistic baseball sim – you know, where players don't have superhero abilities – then you might want to scroll down to the current year's game from that publisher who paid big bucks for the MLB license. But trust me, you'll be missing out on some wild, unpredictable fun!

I lost 16-0 using mouse and keyboard. If you play it I recommend you don't use a mouse and keyboard. As for things not relating to my lousy play I have to say that the graphics and presentation are awesome for what it is trying to do. As for any negatives well fielding is a bit basic and you kind of just need to let the AI almost handle it all itself. Also this isn't a real baseball sim and does not have real players and so you aren't going to get what you would from say Strat-O-Matic Baseball, Replay Baseball, Action! PC Baseball and so on. Hard to save stats when there is no save game option with this. Now even though you don't get everything with this game you still get entertainment. You get a nice arcade-like experience. I recommend this but only pick it up when it is deeply discounted.

Real baseball might be easier but damn it's fun

No tiene sentido comprarlo en steam porque no tiene la funcionalidad de guardar la partida como sí la tiene el original de neogeo. Simplemente no vas a poder terminar un torneo.

I recommend to anyone that has a Switch to get the port of this game there. The Switch version has a Quicksave funktion and runs generally smoother then this port.
