About
Can you survive the nightmare and take control of the dream?
You wake up in the maze of the monster - Bartholomew. In this maze, reality shifts between nightmare and dream, a constant cat and mouse chase where you take contrasting roles in each state.
During the Dream State you will need to chase Bartholomew and try your best to put him down with your trusty revolver however you need to be quick before the nightmare state begins anew.
In the Nightmare State, You are disarmed and hunted, the only viable options are your traps that can help slow down the monstrosity chasing you.
Collect the coins scattered along the maze so you can buy upgrades for your revolver and additional traps to kill the beast faster.
Don't stop running, don't stop hunting. HE. IS. Bartholomew...

Very Intense. Liked it a lot.
I rage-quitted this game, not because the game was bad, but because of the cons outnumbering the pros. Pros: 1. The atmosphere matches the visual and the whole concept of the game, and is perfectly considered. 2. The goal is not described, but it's easy to understand, and it will let you know this is a short game. Cons: 1. One of the things that will soon become a problem is the combination of limiting the screen with visual effects of sprinting and taking damage, and the monster throwing you forward every time it attacks you. Your sight is already almost blind, and when the monster attacks you and throws you (forward) into the walls of the maze, you'll lose your way and might die on the spot. 2. The monster will follow the 'closest' path to the player, not the same path as the player took. It makes the mechanic of trapping the monster almost useless, because you are not guaranteed to have it trapped. 3. Switching states from nightmare to dream is fine, but when you are in the middle of the chase, it really has no purpose. The monster might be two to three turns away, and you won't be able to shoot it, because it walks away too. And there might be no upgrade stations close, and because of the short duration of the dream state, you might not find one, and then the chase starts again. 4. Both of the traps are weak in their own way. The trap that drops coins is not useful because of the previous con I mentioned. The stun trap is weak; it might let the monster slip and not catch it, and even if it does catch it, it will only stun the monster for a very short amount of time. It was not that much of a good experience, but it was not bad in all aspects. 5/10

absolute masterpiece
I will recommend it is differently a fun experience the monster is great to
Good little game
Fun little game for what it is. The combat switching is a neat technique, though it can get a little repetitive since there is only the one weapon. Traps are helpful in a pinch but the revolver upgrades are far more worthwhile. I appreciate that Bartholomew has actual tracking to the players current position rather than blindly following the players path. Would recommend adding a tiered price increase for revolver upgrades (+1=8 coins, then +2 is 12 as example) to increase the difficulty a little.
Bartholomew dingleberry ophidias the 3rd finished the game in 5 minutes .
I couldn't get enough of Bartholomew. 10/10
