Hey! Seen a lot of reviews that it starts in Spanish, if you click on the globe on the main menu and select the english flag it changes to english! Also for the creators, I love this cute little game and would be more than willing to help with some of the translating issues from spanish to english!

I love coffee, especially if it's as dark as my soul
Klasik barista simülatörü. Ben biraz oynadım ve acayip hoşuma gitti size de tavsiye ederim.
"Barista: Take Away" is an advertisement for a cafe in Spain. Seriously. Small businesses should not be using Steam Direct to dump advertisements at gamers! And wow... ego... how many of the 130,000,000 gamers on Steam are going to see this and go drop into a struggling provincial cafe in Spain? I'm going to go with "none". And let's be clear here.. it's harmful for everyone to have this kind of advertising spam on Steam. It takes up marketing space and visibility that should be given to real game developers (not advertising companies) who make genuine games for gamers. And it hurts gamers, because we have to push past all this pollution to find those genuinely made games. And of course it also gives amateur developers an even worse name. What do you do in the game? There's almost no game here... despite the coffee theme, you won't operate an espresso machine or even steam and froth up some milk... this is more like a mobile app, and you just tap on stuff to try meet customer orders. The customers? Asset flipped minecraft-like models from some godforsaken asset pack. Ugh.. it just keeps getting worse. Even though the game looks pretty bad (and decent visuals are a minimum requirement for any game), it looks like some or most of the game assets are stock/flipped assets. I mean, if you're going to shove an asset flip onto Steam, you might as well rip off/plagiarise decent assets. This is like going on a bank heist and stealing a pen and some loose change, or going shoplifting and just stealing a box of store brand toothpicks. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 11 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Adverts have no place in your library. Or on Steam for that matter.

Firstly, I was a bit on the fence about recommending this game, but it's free so... The game itself isn't too bad for a coffee making sim. However, the wording is not only confusing but sometimes it's just bad even. For example, requests for a specific roast with "nuts" but various roasts that specify the type of nut and should technically still fall under "nuts" but don't. I get it's a game mechanic, but it wasn't obvious right away and there's no in-game info about it. If the entire game was proofread then sure, this would be a fun mechanic but as it is now, it just adds unnecessary struggle. There's no story or upgrades, it's simply just replaying a single work day making coffees. I did experience one annoying but, which was that sometimes the coffee cup lip wouldn't spawn at all and so it forced me to either take the 0.5 point loss or restart the day. I noticed that Kenya got translated properly on the menu but not on the actual coffee grinds. Like I mentioned earlier, this game needs to be proofread or rewritten so the text is less confusing. It would be nice to have labels on the ingredients, since it took me awhile to realize that it was condensed milk and not regular milk (my bad for not seeing the other word below leche lol), but it also never clicked that the little pitcher thing was milk... I thought it was cream maybe) Overall, it's free, though there's probably not much gameplay beyond going for achievements due to the general repetitiveness of the gameplay with 0 goal.
