Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 7 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Baobab's Mausoleum has the distinction of being one of the few games I just couldn't finish. I'm going to start with the bad. At a technical level this game is a mess. The controller inputs are just.. broken? Sometimes a single press is multiple presses, just extremely hypersensitive to the point of not working. I fell back to keyboard controls which also weren't always the best. In chapter 2, there is a required task that is impossible if you have a monitor with a refresh rate beyond 60hz, without lowering it to force the game down to 60fps so the bookcase speed works. The last section of gameplay is a rail shooter, and hit detection just felt broken, 60 fps, 165 fps, doesn't matter sometimes hitting square in the "eye" is a one shot, sometimes they just don't die, restart the whole section! You also can't use the mouse for the rail shooter segment, it's arrow keys... I appreciate that this was made by a small set of people, for all of the issues I had with the game it being "generic" or bland was never one of them, it's clearly a passion project, but the flaws outweighed the charm for me.
This game is pretty horrible and literally makes me feel sick just trying to play it.
