Decent arcade combat racing game based on spy movie tropes. Basically, your goal is to shoot and ram everything that moves. The story is a little short, it can be easily beaten in less than 2 hours. There are also 2 additional game modes to extend the playtime if you enjoyed the game enough.

Agent Intercept - это максимально бодрые гонки со стрельбой, где ты с первых секунд чувствуешь себя главным героем какого-то безумного голливудского боевика. Динамика тут просто бешеная, всё постоянно взрывается, летит в щепки, а темп такой драйвовый, что игра вообще не успевает надоесть. Твоя машина на ходу трансформируется то в катер, то в вездеход, ты уворачиваешься от ракет, шмаляешь в ответ - чистый кайф для разгрузки мозга. Сюжетная завязка классическая для шпионских экшенов, и персонажи вышли на удивление прикольными и харизматичными. Правда, местную интригу я раскусила на раз-два: кто предатель, мне стало понятно практически сразу, уж слишком очевидно его вели по сюжету. Но общему веселью это вообще не мешает! Если ищете что-то яркое, быстрое и не душное на пару вечеров - хватайте обязательно. Игра разбита на небольшие этапы, так что сесть, пройти 1-2 трассы в день будет самое то. Мне эту игру подарили по скидке меньше, чем за 100 рублей, до этого никогда о ней не слышала! И была приятно удивлена! В принципе, и за фуллпрайс вы не пожалеете - эмоции получите на эту стоимость, стопудов.

[h1] Short, Repetitive, and Boring [/h1] Agent Intercept is a port of an Apple Arcade game and it really does feel like a game that should've stayed on mobile devices. The barebones mechanics and repetitive levels create a game that might look decent, but gets boring to play even during its incredibly short campaign that consists on only 15 levels. The driving is on rails and all you can control is the boost and going side to side. There's no challenge in drifting around corners, and the only difficulty comes from trying to avoid the swarm of missiles and gunfire from the enemy cars. This gets old extremely quickly. There's no upgrades on any kind so there's no sense of progression either. It would've been extremely easy and thematically appropriate to have some kind of garage where you could buy upgrades like better weapons or turbo capacity. During the missions you're constantly interrupted with cutscenes which are super low budget and I found myself just skipping them every time they came up since the story was so bad anyways. If this was a free phone game with ads I wouldn't really think it was worth playing, let alone a game that costs money on Steam. If you want an arcade racer, I can't recommend it because you don't even have full control of your car, and as a spy game I can't recommend it because the story is generic, uninspired and boring, and as a plain game it doesn't really do anything to warrant a recommendation. It's not really a bad game, it's just very bland and forgettable. In less than an hour I had seen everything it had to offer and was ready to be done with it but because it's so short I just finished it. It also commits the cardinal sin of requiring you to complete enough secondary objectives in the levels in order to unlock more levels and that's just stupid no matter what game it is. Mobile game ported to PC. Game is ok but not great. Completed under 3h. The gameplay basic and the more you play, the more you see the flaws. I cannot recommend this or on a heavy discount.

A flashy spy action racer that feels like a playable action movie, with constant explosions, transformations, and over-the-top set pieces. It’s fun in short bursts, especially when everything is moving fast and the game leans into its arcade-style chaos. That said, the gameplay is pretty shallow and doesn’t evolve much beyond its initial gimmick. Controls are fine but not super tight, and repetition sets in quickly.

Короткі місії, постійні вибухи, нескінченна стрілянина і мовчазний агент, який навіть не намагається ставити зайві запитання. Сюжет тут існує приблизно за принципом дитячої гри в машинки. Хочете боса-гелікоптер? Будь ласка. Підводний човен? Є. Злий штучний інтелект? Теж завезли. Десь після середини гри я остаточно перестав дивуватися тому, що відбувається на екрані. Розстріляти бетонні опори з кулемета? Легко. Застрибнути на ракету, яка щойно стартувала? Чому б ні. Саме в цей момент мене накрило відчуття, ніби мені знову вісім років і я влаштовую епічні спецоперації між диваном і телевізором. Стилізована графіка чудово підходить такому формату. Вона дозволяє показувати великі локації без зайвих технічних понтів і добре маскує той факт, що гра робить ставку не на деталізацію, а на темп. Щоправда, вступні драматичні діалоги трохи переоцінили власну важливість. Спочатку слухаєш уважно, потім киваєш, а ближче до фіналу вже натискаєш "пропустити" з професійною швидкістю людини, яка прийшла сюди не за шпигунськими інтригами. Керування автомобілем теж не намагається бути симулятором. Машина поводиться приблизно так само витончено, як пралка на роликах. Шанувальники старих автомобільних епізодів із Бондіани швидко впізнають цей стиль: багато таранів, мало грації. При цьому гра несподівано підкидає кілька справді креативних місій. Наприклад, коли один агент відволікає охорону вибухами, а інший прослизає повз камери спостереження. Або коли доводиться перехоплювати контроль над фургоном із вибухівкою. У такі моменти Agent Intercept нагадує, що вона не лише про те, як красиво врізатися в чергову ворожу базу. Основна кампанія складається приблизно з тридцяти місій і проходиться за кілька вечорів. Іноді доведеться перепроходити рівні через додаткові завдання. Особливо коли гра вирішує, що якщо ти не продрифтував три кілометри, то людство врятоване недостатньо якісно й місію варто повторити. Камера? Вона розташована трохи збоку й постійно намагається поводитися кінематографічно, плавно перескакуючи між ракурсами. Через це гра створює дивне відчуття: наче одночасно граєш у раннер, рейсинг і шпигунський бойовик. У підсумку Agent Intercept - це чесний чотиригодинний, безтурботним екшен. Без претензій на революцію жанру, без багатогодинного грінду і без спроб вдавати із себе щось більше, ніж є насправді.
