a slice o life

This is a beautiful digital comic book - it has a little bit of animation and some nice music, but mostly it's a non-interactive visual narrative. I really recommend picking it up even though it's not particularly a video game; it's free and such a delight. I found it because I played When the Past Was Around from the developer (which is, in fact, a video game) on PS5, and went to look for more. It's a kind slice-of-life story with no fantasy elements, about three siblings in Indonesia, set in the near past. There is a little gentle reveal at the end about something that I wondered about while I was reading, and I ended up going through the story twice - I had to reread it with the knowledge of what I found out. I appreciated both the art and the storytelling here, and now I really want to play A Space for the Unbound, the team's latest game. __ Source of the game: Free on Steam

It's not a game at all, but the entertainment and peacefulness it brings is good.

The graphics are actually good, but the game felt quite empty for me. There’s no real story, so it was hard to stay interested. It just wasn’t for me.
